If RedAce likes it, I will send him the .bot file.
I don't like it. I really LOVE it. [/sevenyearoldself]

Go ahead and send it.

berserker's a pretty cool design redace
Oh shut up.
Yeah, I needed some ideas and I saw that since the nature of it was perfect for this kind of bot. Sorry bro.

Thanks guys.

And man, I'm productive with this. I've gotten three bots in just a couple of hours and I have a couple ideas for the Events. Yes. I did just say that.
"y wod u includ somthin stoopid redace"

Just to have a bit more fun with this and add a bit of flavor with this pack and it gives you something to do when you're bored. It's like Miiverse Posts in certain games. If you don't care about it, you can just ignore it. No harm, no foul.

Also, I for got to put this in the original post, but I added this just in case you were curious:
5. While I'd like the bots to be the same bot type as the originals, you can rebuild some of these bots to be similar but not different enough to deviate too much from the original.

This way, anything that is a pushbot or wedge can be remade to something a little more competitive.

Try not using a weapon as a stabilizer.
Done that. Thanks.

Ninja performs much better now and can toss bots depending if it actually cares. Beserker is on the right and is pretty destructive yet unstable. Like it should be. :P

I did say I was gonna accept IRL for possibly second half of the teams section, so it's not a complete loss. They look cool anyway.

Looks real good. I like the use of the angled extender parts.

By the way, I've already gotten myself an almost complete Ninja right now.
Well here it is:

I thought the ninja stars in this pack were a perfect weapon for Ninja but it comes with a major flaw. It's not very good. Any suggestions?

090901 and ty4er: Done and done.

By the way, I've already gotten myself an almost complete Ninja right now. So if you wanted to claim it, Would you can say you got...

*put on sunglasses*

Ninja'd?

We have our very first robot in the pack! Craaig has taken The Boxer. I'll put up an update to indicate what has been done so I don't post every second what has been done.

rnifnuf: I'll put you up for both, and as long Tailwhip doesn't deviate too much from it's original design to where the only thing in common is it's name, then go for it.

EDIT: Oh, and I pondered a thought when getting stuff organized. You know Tunnel Rat? That sample bot when you first download Ironforge? I think it might make a good Coal Miner, assuming 123STW is cool with this. Any objections?

1651
I would also like to suggest a rather punny name: Stock AIronforge.
I'll save name suggestions for later for when I make Logos and the like, but I like what you gave to me :)
Claiming Red Zone.

Do I have to make the LW/HW as flippers or can I just turn them into popups like restocked did?
Deal. I'd prefer for the robots to stay to their original bot type and have it stick out from the rest because of that. Yet flippers have a bit of  disadvantage since all the arenas are pretty much enclosed, which I could prevent with Arena selection. So your choice is whatever you want to do.

1652
Well, naturally, I got The Boxer sorted if you should want it :P Love the idea.
Yeah, this is an excellent idea.

I'll do anything you want me to do for it - and i'm especially interested in .gib UI editing now I've done it for the first time. I've also got my eye on building Spin Bonker.
Up to you guys if you wish to do it. And thanks.

Modifications / ReForged AI Pack - Version 2.0 In Development
« on: August 02, 2015, 05:40:45 PM »

Special thanks to Lemonism for making this awesome logo.

Reforged v2.0 is now currently in development.  You can still download v1.1, but be warned, it is horrifically outdated and might not live up to current standards for Ironforge.

If you do want to help with rebuilds, then more power to you, and I'd absolutely appreciate it.  But there are a few rules to address:

1. It must be built using like a Standard bot. (Standard is pretty much competitive DSL or Ironforge where it's competitive but it must be realistic.)

2. Biggest rule change here. Best come best serve.  Ultimately I think this will be the big thing to help with version 2.0.  I'm mostly making this rule so the bot can actually put up some sort of fight.  Like better than ReForged 1.1 anyway.

3. Keep the style of the original design as possible for the main LWs, MWs and HWs.  The rest will be AWs, BWs, and SHWs inspired by the themes of the teams.

4. I'll be doing most discussions for designs in a private discord server.  Send me a PM on GTM or discord if you want a link to access.  Mostly so I can keep things organized and everyone there can discuss things in a "round table style" for lack of a better term.

Looking pretty cool. It's almost like it belongs in an AI pack.

Hang on. That just gave me an idea.

For the first one: As far as I'm concerned, no, I don't think one is even in the works.

For the second one: Ask Trovaner in PM very nicely and maybe he can do it for you.

It'd be cool if you gave a list of arenas and let people choose their home arena, so they could potentially suit their bots to the arena.

Alright then. I'll add that and patch up a couple other things later. I do need help with finding arenas, but only if they go by these two rules:

1. The arena MUST have open walls for OOTA purposes. Flippers and the like will have a disadvantage with enclosed arenas.
2. The hazards or obstacles must NOT be too invasive to the robots so matches can have fair outcomes. Yes, even with hazards off.

Also, don't expect much from this if I don't post many newsflashes about this. Just a warning if things do get inactive.
