Overdrive?

Overdrive's already in.
Oh right.  Derp.  I was trying to use that banana you gave as a clue.

Those skins are pretty rad on the three recent bots.  Linking Saint Megaton.  The chassis is pretty original since it's derpy and awesome at the same time.

MORE REVENGE/REVENGE THE RESURRECTION (yes, all caps is necessary) is also quite nice.  It reminds me of the REVENGE in ReStocked.

I feel sorry for some people who actually expected something decent to be created. The trolling is strong is this one.
I feel scared now.  I made my design as obvious as possible for my "team" to get the right idea on what I planned out.  I can't wait to see how much [insert name here] has trolled me.

Noisy Cricket in the Challenge a Champ event then  :p
And it will be the last one I do.

Oh good God.  I finally did it.  It took three hours, one giant headache, several meltdowns and metal dizziness, but I did it.  I put the troll face for the logo for both of us.  And you also want me to try it with Saint?  Hell no.  It would be less painful to build a Twn Twrn replica in DSL and that's with minimal detail.  Either way, it looks like you got the last laugh here HB.

...Oh yeah, maybe I should get back on topic.  After all, you did release this mod to us so I guess it would be fair if I give my thoughts on this.

As far as a mod goes, it's fantastic. The replicas look beautiful and very well detailed, as well as the arenas which are fun to go through.  The UI and music do a great job of making me feel like I'm playing a Robot Wars game.  Some parts kinda feel a bit rushed though, and that's some of the collision meshes which kinda gives me a weird feeling when playing.  Also, some component reblancing might help fix some of the collision mesh issues.  But regardless, no matter how much I would go on about this, the pros would outweigh the cons here and some cons are things in RA2 that no one would fix.  Fans of Robot Wars would really get a kick out of this and maybe those not so familiar to the franchise could probably have fun with this as well.

Score: I'll give it a 9.5/10.  In my opinion, it just falls short of the rushed elements and some of those problems would just be nit-picking.  But still, it's fun and enjoyable.  Thanks to everyone who spent two years making something awesome.

I wanted to try to make another comic that was also good.  So I apologize for this:

Downloading now...  Will post thoughts later.

Edit: Oh yeah, I just remembered.  Shouldn't you put a link on the front page for this mod?

DP I'm assuming you're not saying anything assumes you guys are cool with it.  Got it.  Send those bots to me guys.

Also,  I've finally gotten myself into component skinning.  If you guys want something to be reskinned from what you already sent me, then let me know.  I got a couple done so far.  For the record, I'll be using some skins of my own, and some from Mr. AS's skin pack assuming he's cool with it.

Alright, since it's almost here, I'll just say this spiel now.  For about 2 years, (1 year and 11 months if we're being picky) I didn't know what to think of how this mod would come to be.  I thought this would be an expansion of already existing Robot Wars mods with an coat of High Definition paint.  As development went on, I was heavily disproved.  Throughout the time, I started to grow fond of this mod and follow it pretty closely which made me look differently at RA2 and Robot wars as a whole.  Who knows?  maybe it'll spread like wildfire and bring even bigger life for the RA2 and Robot Wars community to those not even that familiar with this mod or the previously mentioned communities in general like say: Project M.  I know that is incredibly wishful thinking, but hey, it deserves to be that way as this has been a mod that has taken all the time it has needed.  I also have to admit, I kinda wish I could've helped with the development team in some way other than being supportive.  It makes me feel heartbroken that I couldn't have helped with development.

But all that aside, Robot Wars RA2 Development Team, I salute you and thanks for your hard work and contribution.

I'm tempted to record my first thoughts along with my reactions to promote/review this.  Wow.  That admittedly sounds corny typing the mere thought of it.

Then again, if you don't really mind at all, I COULD do that.

Would anyone be interested in a Scrapheap Challenge in Stock or Ironforge?  Or would that be stepping on Kurt's toes too much?
Stock LW would probably work best if someone is doing a Stock version at some point.  Even you dude.  Ironforge may be harder since it has fewer components to work with.

I did like the first Scrapheap Challenge, so as long as Kurt doesn't mind, go ahead.

Obligatory hype comment.

why can't roboteers rep anymore i would totally do this
Why can't everyone rep once a day, it's not like people take rep seriously anyways.
why do we even have rep at all
I guess it's some sort of way to give anyone ranked AU or above something along with the Gold tag and name.  It's not like it matters too much to argue over anyway.

Unique, but it looks a bit like a glass cannon.  Does it suffer from AGOD at all?

During my off-time, I play video games.  My mood may vary for the game I'm playing, but I like to dabble with some of the games to find something new in a game I barely play.  Some of my favorites to play are Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Mega Man X, Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, and Super Mario World.

I also like to listen to some Classic Rock even when I am working on a project for something important.

I also like to construct and build out of specific objects or material.  I also like to edit videos.  It can vary but most of the time, I like to put effort in what I made from what I am given inside my movie editor.

tl;dr I play oldschool platforming, listen to Classic Rock songs and I like to build and edit.  So yeah, I like to be reminded of nostalgia from now or way back then.

The ghey wedge doesn't look very good in contrast with the skin, use an MCB wedge instead. Looks good otherwise.

You're a ghey wedge.
It's best not to insult members in my humble opinion.  All it will do is come back to bite you in the ass when you don't want it to happen.

But I do agree with him.  Maybe you can remain the wedge to something like a tounge so that is fits the General Chompsalot skin.  The bot looks fantastic other than that.  It looks like SABotage joined the army.
