Looks very good for a first showcased bot. I'm gonna echo the advice everyone else has already given, with the addition that I'd personally try to connect the wheelguards to the back of the bot somehow, as in real life they'd be Hella fragile only being attached at 1 point like that. Good stuff though. Keep it up

Off the challenge participants agree to the bots being user controlled I really don't see the issue here.

Love it. You fixed just about my only gripes with the HW version which were the flimsiness of the claws and the placement of the disc. Absolutely solid stuff.

Well, now to get out wedge'd by TR, sorry Orc bb.
I wouldn't be so sure of that. I have quite the history of making sh** wedges What about your redditbots entry?
Less a case of it being good and more a case of everyone else's wedges being crap (also it wasn't IRL)

Another new one, and this is a rarely sighted (from me) SHW. Feeling kinda eh about it. It's definitely not what I had in my head when I started building but I think it panned out okay. 2 Perm 132's for the drum and 4 TWM3s for drive. 3 black batts for power and a slow mag burst for the srimech. Almost all steel armour. 1108KG so still a lil bit of spare weight. Pics: Exterior: Interior (I got halfway through disassembling it before losing the will to live and just taking the image from the bottom):

Looks interesting. May throw something in but can't promise anything. Must say it does seem like this is kinda asking for a repeat of the whole Robogames configs fiasco. Might wanna make the rules on configs very clear before this opens for signups to prevent that.

Rebuilt it today to more closely resemble its heavyweight cousin as I wasn't particularly happy with the previous incarnation (as you may have been able to tell from the post). More battery power (a black instead of a battlepack), better looks (IMHO) and a closer resemblance to the HW and MW versions. Still not completely happy, but I'm a lot happier than I was with the last version. Pics: Exterior: Interior:

Well I decided that today was the day to do that LW version of Sabre to go along with the HW and MW versions, and yet again I've affirmed the fact that I can't build for sh** below MW. Here's the little ****er. 1 VDMA burst for the weapon and 2 slimbodies for drive so it's pretty nippy at least. 1 battlepack for power so it can't really get through a fight. 100% aluminium armour so it's gonna evaporate in seconds, and a wedge which is almost as bad as the one on the MW version. Had to change cookies to global to get the wiki working. Depending on which browser your using, it might not like that. I use a Chrome and it has been working fine. Had to clear out all GTM cookies though. Have increased the session timeout to 1 day instead om around 1h.
Also use chrome here and it also works fine so it definitely sounds like a browser issue
