Eh, I have been building in DSL 2.2, but not everything is up to my best, for example, these three bots that were sitting in my bot lab:  I built these for a personal project of mine that will never happen now, so here they are. I'd say Mazakari is one of the best IRL builders there alongside with Thyrus, Pressure, RedAce and ty4er.
I wouldn't go that far. :L
You did win GTM's best IRL builder of 2015 for a reason. And I'm not sure if I'm comparable to those guys as well. Anyway, the first and second ones look cool. The construction of the second is nice and the simplicity of the first is what helps.

Sheesh. Every single match with a rammed has been a suspenseful moment since Mjlolnir is essentially a crippled bot that can lose its wheels very easily.
And good to know Flip Flop Rock is like an armored tank. That probably won't matter much h against a rammer.

 No. This isn't my bot I'm using for my challenge against Reier. This was actually a challenge I asked in the Skype chat to suggest anything and I'll build it. The requirements were to for it be a Shell Spinner and for it to use Car Steering. Take a wild guess on who suggested this. I did the best of my ability to try and make the shell part... an actual shell in Ironforge, with some counter to when it gyros around the arena. Also, for extra points, I made it 3WD, because why the hell not. I think it's got 3mm Steel, or 5mm Tite. The rest should be visible.
