I feel the more you do something in a repetitive state, the more normal it is.  And normal is as predictable and boring as normal gets.  In fact, the repetition of something you get annoyed by can make you feel numb to the pain.

Anyway...

Thanks for hosting yugi.  Apologies if my bot had something to do with the technical difficulties.

Is there a way to use the battlebot arena with 4bots?
In this?  Sorry, wrong mod.  And besides, Click has updated the arena which has been out for at least a year now.  You can find it in DSL 2.2.

I have recieved Mouldy's bot, and it is denied due to the weapon cutting through the motor, making it unrealistic.

I have also received Booby's Bobyasianboy's bot.  It is accepted, AI'd, and ready to go.

The weaponed flipper looks really good.  How good are the wedges?

Yeah, I got a weird issue as well.

Alright, lemme explain what happened here.  I was just riving around with Foxic II and I wanted to use the arena wall to self-right.  However, for some reason, when I did this, the game registered my as "Eliminated" when I was nowhere near the floor of the OOTA zone.  Could you possibly fix this to avoid any other weird moments like this?  I apologize if I'm giving a poor explanation of what I mean.  I'll put a video together trying to show you what I mean.

Other than that, I like it so far.  Although some of the new bots in this mod (mostly the 2WD ones), Eric, An Adorable Kitten, Beast 2, Ceros, Cerberus, etc. move sooooo sloow.  Were the drive motors not able to handle their weight?

Edit: just noticed the first patch.  Thanks for that, maybe that'll fix it.

Claiming the final spot.
(No limit on entrants)

Also, Chickenado still need to fix his entry or I'm just gonna take him off of the list.

How many times have we done a HW BOTM now?  Could we at least get more diverse with weightclasses and change it up just for a bit?

Other than that, I'll try to whip up something.

Hey I just had a thought.  Click, RedAce, y'all up for a BotM rumble match?  Just to see what happens?
Why not, as long as Click is up for that, then I don't see a reason not to.

Why DSL 2.1?  I guess preference, but I feel 2.2 gives you way more and is easier to manage.

Also, I can enter, even if it's in 2.1.  But do 8645T style bots fall into the restricted category?  I would AI it so that would be Hammer side front.

couldnt you just make a slightly bigger chassis since the anchor will almost certainly get in the way
yeah, seems like the anchor will harm your wedge's efficiency
I agree.  It would be better, I just didn't feel like rebuilding it at the time.  But now I did feel like doing it.

It performs much better against HS now that it has some extra speed to boot.  Thanks for the comments to encourage me to do this guys.

obligatory thoughts on new dlc characters post go go go

I've been playing around with Corrin and Bayonetta this morning and I'm pretty pleased with them.

Corrin is mostly the usual Fire emblem Sword character with a few twists.  He/She has a few twists with the Neutral B and Side B which still has me trying to adapt to him/her with how to actually use it, but nothing to complex.  Overall, He/She is alright and I've already found a couple kill moves that might be like his/her bread and butter kills in the competitive scene.

Bayonetta on the other hand, is not as easy to use.  She's fun to play with, don't get me wrong, but I got a couple things that isn't quite natural to me.  Her bullet arts is quite unique and she has some great combo potential.  Her recovery options are ridiculous though.  Because you can use her Up-B > Jump > Another Up-B > a Side B to recover.  As someone who has been playing Smash for a long time, this is a case where muscle memory can harm you if you wanna main her.  You really need a lot of dedication if you plan on getting great use out of her.  She's fine, but just hard to get used to.

What are your thoughts on these two?

Old bots that I never posted:

These were my bots for my Ironforge challenge against Reier.  The HW has two ballast and has 10mm Alu or 5mm Steel I think.  It actually does pretty good even while a 100 kg underweight.  The LW has 5mm Tite I beleive.  I don't quite remember.  Anyway, it was to make use with the remaining weight so I didn't put random junk everywhere on my HW and make it worse.  It worked well, and if there was ever an Ironforge BW tournament (someone actually make one please), I could just take off the razor whiskers and make the LW useful.

Hawk Eye, Double O and Porcupine, inspired from Arenas Of Destruction?
A winner is you.

Anyway...

I know, blatant Splinter clone.  I admit it, it isn't my best work, but I just felt drained from RA2 when building it, so I just threw it together for the sake of throwing it together.  I haven't tested this in combat yet, but it's fun to drive around.

Also...

I was hoping to at least get a laugh or two out of this team, yet that can't disguise the fact they're not that great and that they're IRL drums.

Basically, my take on a LW side popup challenge.  It's not bad overall, but I for some reason can't drive it.  I also had some leftover weight which is why the random anchor with two extenders are there.
