I'm pretty surprised to see Jilter Lover perform so well against such a dangerous bot
I too am suprised at that outcome, kinda thought you'd be torn up Pokebro didn't have a good time against the IceWave bot, again really surprised at that outcome, but I guess I underestimated the strength of the frontal armour. In the next fight plerco showed all the control and aggression in that fight, agree with that decision and finally, this last fight really shocked me, I thought that Kix would be easily defeated, but with Anguish getting stuck on it's side, it provided quite a shocking moment. Looking forward to the next episode, now that Im finally in it :  :

That won't simplify things, as I'd still need to do the two parts of this project that require the most work - collecting people's bots that they made this month, and then asking them which bot from the month they'd like to submit. Plus, if I did that approach, the DSL category would be, in no uncertain terms, HUGE.

Again, would have to collect bots and ask people which one they want to enter. The issue isn't the amount of categories, it's the amount of bots, collecting said bots, and then asking which one they want to use for that month.
One solution I could think of that'd save me time is if people labelled, once a month, which bot they were entering into what category. So, if they made a bot in, let's say, DSL-S, that they were really proud of, they could put a little image next to the splash image to indicate to me "Okay, this is the one I'm entering". That'd save me quite a chunk of time.
That could actually work, it's the same as current botm, just containing more categories. Or maybe just send the image over itself.

The way I see it, this is simply an improvement over the current bot of the month, I would personally like to put up the bots of each category; DSL (Chassis), DSL (Extenderbots), Stock, Ironforge and Custom, in a image on the front page, like that of the current botm. There is no reason I see for bot botms to exist side by side as that has no purpose.
