That's pretty good for a newcomer. You got any extra info for it, such as weight. Based on what I can see, you might need more batteries for it, perhaps another red bat and changing the current burst motors to some of the VDMA ones, much better for axes.

currently have it as a heavily armour HW I'm using the 2 mag snapper (fast) for the axes 2 TWM3R (drive) for the S3 Wheels as for batteries have a WP836e and a battlepack. The Shovel itself is static only used to keep spinner from the chassis while pinning for the axes. its has self righted in testing and the spikes allow it to move on its tail in order to aid in the self righting or if on top of another bot.

I'd recommend you up the drive to NPCFasts, that's kinda the standard on HWs. With the shovel, try putting it on a hinge, you'd have an easier time getting under stuff, this would better allow you to pin stuff against walls etc. What's the armour on it, you might be able to drop it down to make weight for these adjustments

Armour is 10MM titanium so pleantly of weight to work with i just dropped it down to 5MM and added the VDMA to give that a test run the kickback throws it slightly up but with hit zone being small they should be in shovel to counter that. I have around 100KG to work with before i make any fine tuning so could look at upgraded drive as you recommend and and an extra long battery

To help with the jumping, adding a tail close to the floor can assist with stability

was just thinking of ripping off BETA for that lol keeping it flush to floor but small enough can self right easily still, other then that think just need check battery life with new upgrades and see if i can make room for new drive motors

Sweet, looking forward to it

Rykon, based on an Ra2 bot I made, based of Mystic's CAD for Heaven Jaws. Good artists copy, great artists steal

Personally I think it looks great the way it does now, honestly I hope you make this IRL.

Loving the way you've set up the jaw, I'd recommend some teeth angled the other way to stop opponents getting out so easily.

You could probably make the whole thing more compact and you could definitely reduce the size of the forks, they look ridiculous IMO

I agree with Olister tbh, I'd move the front drive motors back and that font battery behind the weapon motor, similar to that one on the other side and then adding a front wedge instead of forks, or just adjusting the fork size to suit the bot more.

Hey im Nightraven been watching robotic combat since jeremy clarkson and the boxes on wheels in robot wars UK series one. Played all the robot wars games i still have them on my laptop and recently been playing around with robot arena 2 but as online play doesnt exist anymore (from what i hear it never really did without crashing) i thought i would just look around see what i could find with AI matches and other builders sharing design and ideas

hey man, hope you enjoy your stay here

Hell yea my dude, but I can see the wings immobilizing you. The curve edge on Shiver star really is nice, try find a way to move it down the wedge.

Pretty solid lineup. I-95 is still your best work to date IMO. Absolutely top drawer

That said, not really a fan of the trifecta of overheads in the lower weightclasses. Could really do with some variety there. The random 45 degree angle spam on the side of Flatline looks pretty odd to me too.

I agree with Robo here but I complain too much, I've done the same thing with bar spinners in the lower weight class.
Overall they are all lovely builds

I agree, but tbh I'm a spinner man, so I don't really have any desire to build many other weapon types, but thank you both for the compliments

Ey, looking great, personally I'd say Dambuster is the weakest of the lot, due to it's lack of KO'ing capabilities compared to the others, but it's probably one of the better looking ones imo.

Also you got a shot of Cicada firing?

How can it be speed demon if theres no speed?  :really_makes_you_think:
In terms of fighting Dambuster and maybe Resolute are probably the weakest yeah.

Here's a sh**ty pic of Cicada firing. The fact it works at all surprises me so I'm willing to overlook how godawful it looks when flipping

[ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]

The Speed Demon name was mostly from the fact that it uses the martini racing colour scheme on the chassis. The fast drive of the old one was part of it, buit it just caused too many issues with the bot flipping itself and sucked up weight that could have been used on features that are actually beneficial like a srimech and better armour.

Ah sweet, didn't realise it uses hexplates for supports.
