Sorry for the double post, but I have done a thing that is... odd. It's based off a certain wood 'bot in 2016 and a joke Dara 'O' Briain made to the team of said wooden 'bot. It even has its own skin as well! Meet HMS Dara's Boat!

When you are complimented by one of the best RA2 builders ever, you know you're doing something right. Anyways, I made a robot with paint.net! It used a bit of MS Paint, but only for the trimming of the edges. Here is Unstable Nucleus!

Get yourself paint.net downloaded, it's so much better than MS paint. The bot itself looks pretty cool, I think the paintjob is too bright and garish tho
That is what I have currently done. Hopefully, there will be a 'bot on this showcase that utilises paint.net. Just trying to experiment with it at the moment.

I have tried my hand at skinning (with MS Paint :P) and I have tried to recreate my Nightmare-style VS. Meet NightShade!

You only need regular notepad :P
As for .py's you may need other than those already provided, a search in the GTM search bar does wonders.
Really? Only the standard notepad and not Notepad++ or python or any other programs? Huh, would've thought you would have needed something else. Thanks for the reply, mate.

I'm going to enter something. Be warned, though - I can't AI, as I am a bit of a noob (he says, being a 9-month old lurker) and haven't yet got python as my laptop is shot up and won't dl it.

I love the idea of using one and only one of each component in a tournament - Might enter something for this. :3

Most thwack bots don't have a secondary rammer on the front, is it supposed to drive like an SnS or do you ram into them and spin at them?
Can you not just use normal extenders instead of the T-connectors for the iron spikes and save weight?
The stock connectors in DSL 2.2 are only 1KG as opposed to 4 or 5KGs. Still, tita or steel extenders are going to be a better bet - They have more HP and better mounting points to boot.

DSL 2.2 Heavyweight IRL? Count me in.

My biggest problem with the 'bot is with the weapon itself. Heavy spikes only have one normal, so they will struggle to deal out damage outfitted in that way. I'd say you should angle the spikes to improve damage or use a different weapon such as beaters.

This is a 'bot I created after the reddit expoded into a cloud of angry bees after a certain fight. Anyways, meet the anger-inducing Saltbug!

There's also Invertebrat from series 3 and 4 of Robot Wars. Made a heat final, with little other success.

A deadly machine that I have created for Wheely Tag Tournament, meet Swamp Lurker! This is also my first proper LW, so it might not be the best. :P

I think the new DSL-Standard rules for 2.2 are similar to the old version.

Anyone want to team up? Dunno how DSL LWs are but I might have a idea on how to destroy quite a few of Stock LWs.
I can team up. Unfortunately, I'm hopeless with AI'ing, so I am going to need some help with the 'bot I am entering.

Y'know, I might enter this tournament. Not sure who to partner up with and it'll be a problem for me as I am more acquainted with IRL HW's. Ah, well, might give it a shot anyways.

Hey, guys, remember Challenger? Well, I finally got around to creating the full version with some improvements such as reliable invertability, weapons, and no AGOD! Here it is. What do you guys think of it?
