How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

I think that nickelodian makes a too big of a deal of them. I never heard of anyone liking them. Anybody recently who have preformed on Disney channel recently are way too contrived.

Metallica :trollface

Or Slayer.
Cannibal Corpse, Opeth, Darkthrone, Machine Head (currently experiencing their strongest point in their career but really not that good IMO, at least at the moment. Burn My Eyes still rules), Dimmu Borgir, Children Of Bodom, Behemoth, Decapitated, Evile (although their last album is awesome), Necrophagist (musical wankery at its worst), Periphery, Chimp Spanner and Nile are all also extremely overrated quite regularly.

I'm still trying to think of what 'overrated' could mean in this context... although, if it's what I think it is, then Justin Bieber is overrated because he doesn't write his own lyrics, he doesn't write his own music, and, from what I've heard, he sings with auto-tune.
Yes that sequence of words I just said made perfect sense.

Basically it boils down to "bands that you think other people like too much."

Oh, so not in a sense of 'they have no talent but are liked anyway'? Somehow I don't think that I can think of any bands that I think people like too much.

Metallica. And Slayer. Most thrash metal too. I don't really think "overrated" can be directly applied to "popular" music (like Bieber, Lady Gaga, etc.), but what really gets me is when guys like Hammett and Mustaine are christened among the "greatest" guitarests of all time. Dunno why, but this really bothers me, especially since I don't think their music is that good.

*Waits for someone to say "Mastodon" in response* - although I'd be kinda inclined to agree at this point. While I still love their earlier stuff, and even Crack the Skye, their newest album wasn't really that great.

Well, I was using 'Given an undue amount of credit for quality or merit in a field; not necessarily related to popularity' when I said Bieber (hence me using the reasons I used).

My friend does think that Metallica are severely overrated for what they are (I can't remember his reasoning, but I do know that he knows a heck of a lot more about music than I do)

What's funny is that I prefer much of Hunters to their previous works.

And damn you for guessing what I was going to post :P
But I would disagree with "Most Thrash Metal". While Metallica has been on the wain for a very long time and Slayer's best records are the ones nobody actually listens to (Seasons In The Abyss and South Of Heaven), I feel that bands like Testament, Exodus, Overkill, Kreator and Destruction (at least pre 2003 in the case of the latter) all have had a resurgence and are comparatively unknown compared to modern metal bands and all of them successfully mix melody(especially Testament) and technicality(especially Destruction). Then you have all those bands like Heathen, Toxik, Tankard, Metal Church and so on which are all extremely good (at least in my opinion; I know you're more of a sludge/doom/stoner kinda guy; I still dig the good Cathedral song occasionally :P)
Couple of examples of the good end of thrash:

And Mustaine and Hammett suck. Really, while I liked the former a while back I dislike how overrated they are compared to guitarists like Jeff Loomis or Rob Jarzombek. (@R0B0: Did you buy Joel McIver's book on the subject of best metal guitar players?)

2 of the Big 4. :/

Anyway, I can see where you're coming from with Metallica (I love them though), and I didn't like Slayer much. IMO, Anthrax are my favourites in that catergory.

Also, overated is The Beatles. Some good songs, but just not as good as people say they are. I liked George Harrison though.
