I don't know if I've ever shared my views on entertainment with anyone, but I believe that in recent years, television for grown-ups has taken a slight decline, and television for children has taken a HUGE decline. Case in point; "Dude What Would Happen?" It's been described as "Mythbusters for kids," which would be true if it were remotely about science. Have a gander:

Its for the video game obsessed 8-12 year olds who just want to see things "go boom". That's why my 9 year old brother watches Mythbusters.

Not all kids watch just kid shows, I started watching South Park and Family Guy when I was 9 and I know lots of kids that watch SpikeTV/Comedy Central. Also, I seem to be one of the few people at my school that actually watches the news(excluding teachers...)

I'd personally say Teletubbies and any show vaguely simular to it. Kid's TV went terribly wrong after that came out.

My roommate watches "Dude What would Happen" (he's 21). It is Jackass for people with no balls.
I think it would have to be a tie with Ali G (retarded but god damn funny) and Important Things With Demitri Martin.

Now it is, how many shows can we copy before people really notice.
Really TLC we have Octomom, Jackass and Kate, Now something else.

Yeah, TLC used to have some cool shows. Now it's 'reality'-type shows with midgets (*ahem* little people), people with weird diseases, more midgets, and people with lots of kids. And people who argue. It's like the head of the channel is TRYING to run them in the ground.
