My school was shut down from Dec. 11 to Jan. 5th cuz of the ice storm. We were supposed to get off on Dec. 23rd :biggrin:

we had 2 days off because of of a -49 F degree windchill. We don't get snow days unless its like 5 feet high. Minnesota has like the best snow plow system, so we get a snowday like once every few years or so.

Snow days? Never seen/experienced one of those during my shcooldays, or even heard that there has been one. Guess us Finnnish are so used to cold that those are not given out.

its not the cold. its just deemed unsafe/impossible for the the buses to pick all the kids up with all the snow, so they cant have school. only ever lasts like one day.
