I still have all those saved too. Pretty sure 2008 as a bit more populated. Look at the BBEANS 4 entry list. All were active besides Jules, mjrobots, Seastalker, FB, Botreactor, Silver, and Sammy. Still not huge, but a great bunch of people with a real interest in building. Those were DSL's best days, just look at how original and ranged the bot designs were, while still being quite good.

Popups - Been around since stock

So no I didn't do anything to DSL.  The only thing I did that really stuck was making wedge wider.

And I never preach about efficiency either.  Only Naryar does that.

People left and stop building cuz they grew up and has other things to do besides playing this game.  That's it.

Also, nobody's stopping you from building DSL bots at the level of 3 years ago.  They just gonna suck and get trashed by modern bots.

TBH Nar AI was what pushed DSL building, not 123. I still think its good that we got NAR AI though. It was so much better than the stock DSL bots.

people act stupid on gtm because they can. they can because there is no sense of respect or authority here. nary destroyed all respect and authority that the mod staff had over the community. he makes an ass out of himself every day with his participacition in stupid threads and how he makes discipline humorous by calling it "smiting and justice fisting" . he  can't keep control over any situation because he isn't respected because he commands respect but he doesn't take gtm the least bit seriously so nobody respects him.
