Man you really have a thing for bikes. Those are all pretty cool but would be a little small for me being "6`4' and all. i might be able to ride the purple beastie, and the mini chopper.

Same for me, GK3.  They look neat, but I'm the same height.

SG, I'll contact you soon.

I love that almost "homemade" look of "The Rat". It gives the bike a style not really like any other, in my opinion.

Just for reference, guys, I'm 5'9, and the Purple Beastie is the same size as The Rat and The Zombie.  The Green Machine is actually slightly larger.  Several of the guys I ride with are in the 5'10-6'3 range, and can all fit comfortably on these bikes (and yes, some of the bigger guys do have midbikes, which are about the size of the chopper.  The chopper, btw, is about 2/3 scale.)

The Rat was almost a complete wreck when I got it - it had been very badly abused by a previous owner who was using a street bike as an off-road bike.  The only saving grace was that the engine turned over.  All the fairings were trashed, so I decided not to rebuild the bike as "stock," like the Purple Beastie (okay, that one's not exactly stock anymore, either, but that's another story).  Instead, I was going to rebuild the bike "redneck style," using whatever materials I had onhand to give the bike a unique look.  Some of the more interesting features of the bike include:
-DuPont spraycan muffler
-Altoids can air cleaner
-Dremel wrench killswitch cover
-BMX Mongoose footpegs
-Duct tape on front fork tube holding down brake cable (can't be a ratbike without duct tape!)
-Volkswagon gas filter
-Gas tank hardmounted to frame
-Wire mesh between seat and tank
-Custom seat made from gluing seatpad to 22-gauge steel sheet, cut to shape, then bolted to bike, using a cut-down office keyboard track for support
-Custom brackets for everything are in the works

I'm not going to list the other stuff I did with the engine, as it's a little technical and you guys probably wouldn't understand most of it, anyway.  Needless to say, though, the engine has been mildly warmed up.  The Rat can hit 30mph+ on a straight stretch.

Why a ratbike?  Why not?  Because it was a challenge seeing what I could do with what I had onhand.  Because it was a slap in the face to all the owners of the prettied-up bikes with their loads of chrome and 32 coats of hand-rubbed paint and wax.  Because it was different, something no one else had done before.  I wasn't trying to build a race bike - that's why I bought the Beastie.  This bike was for me, and for fun.  This is my signature bike, the one I'm most known for on PBP.

If you're interested in browsing through the pictures of my bikes on my PhotoBucket album, here's the link:

if you want to see the complete thread about all my bikes on pocketbikeplanet.com, here's that link, too:

For starters, I own 2 Honda CT70 trail bikes. One is in clearly better shape than the other. The one I ride often is the first one, it is a 70cc 3 speed with a top speed around 35 MPH.

The other CT70 was bought for parts and is not in working condition. It needs several things, including a chain, an air cleaner, and a rebuild on the transmission. 2nd gear is not working properly.

Next is my Yamaha Moto4 100 quad. This is a shaft drive instead of the more conventional chain drive, which means you never have to tighten a chain but the gears on the rear end wear out and cost around $500 to replace. needs 2 new tires.

I almost forgot that i started this topic. And to get it back on topic i am going to post another car.
It's a 1950 Chevy. It has a straight six in it mainly because i like the way that it sounds.

I can see that really turning out badly depending on how powerful the engines are and how straight he attached them on...
