WHA? But even if you take out the comedy, it's still a great zombie movie. The effects are well done, the characters seem real and interesting, and there's social commentary. The social commentary is something most non-Romero zombie movies fail to include.

Well we all know that Lionsgate is squeezing another movie form the tropical SAW citrus fruit. Any predictions on what is to come...
Mine are...
1. 3-D (like every other movie)
2. Kramer's Wife will get tortured because of the letter she picked for Hoffman
3. An amusement park lair (they already used a bathroom, a house, a meat factory, an ice factory, abandoned sewer lines, and  an abandoned zoo)
4. More horrible acting
5. Better special effects (just from looking at each movie and how it is improving)
6. DITCH THE DOLL!!!!!
They aired the first 8 minutes of Saw 3D on Comic-Con, the doll is back and so is Dr. Gordon.
AWW I must have missed you at comic con cause I was there...
My overview of the first 8 minutes in 10 points.
1. YES DR.GORDON IS ALIVE
2. Dr Gordon heals his nub by putting it up to a heating pipe
3. Cut to a big city
4. people surrounding a giant glass display
5. 2 people shackled to a table saw with 2 facing each other and a third one in the middle
6. The Doll rolls in and tells them that they were both dating the same woman at the same time and a box reveals the woman above the middle saw
7. The 2 men must push the table at each other and kill the other so they can save the woman from the middle saw
8. Man #1 gets clipped
9. The woman is trying to get one to kill the other
10. both of the the men realize that the woman is using them to save her so they sat and look pretty while the woman was lowered to her gory doom!

I watched these films yesterday and I agree with you Shaun of the Dead is much better than Zombieland. Its not scary, but funny. Zombieland is sh*t, its not a comedy and not a horror, its boring.

you class zombie land as a horror? its a comedy...you musta screamed when you saw shaun of the dead.

For soe reason though, I can take Zombieland and Shaun of the Dead. Mainly because of the fact that they're funny. I just hate things like Dead Rising and Dead Snow...

KILLER KLOWNZ FROM OUTER SPACE

Mmmmm cotton candy.

Just saw the 1990 version of "Night of the Living Dead" and I was really surprised how awesome it is.

Here are some suggestions straight out of my DVD collection:

Battle Royale http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0266308/
Read the Book too!

Repo The Genetic Opera http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0963194/
Strange... very strange.

Perfume http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0396171/
Delightfully disturbing!

Nochnoi Dozor
(Night Watch) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0403358/
Russian awesomeness.

28 Days Later http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0289043/
Brilliant.

Maximum Overdrive http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091499/
Brilliantly cheesy! A must for AC/DC fans as well.

That's because George A. Romero was heavily involved with it.

Indeed! When I saw his name in the opening credits I was happily surprised.

normally I like the saw movies myself but I am skeptical with number 7

what was great was the ever going mystery but it was kinda solved in number 6 so I feel it will end up like lost
