I swear I've seen this thread before.

Always went by kill343guilyspark on the internet. Of course, that didn't fit when I signed up for the original RA2 forum. Shortened it to kill343gs and stuck with it.  Went by that in Halo PC too, until I joined my clan and it didn't fit in the name slot with the clan tag so I shortened it to K343. From there I earned the nickname KePo, which is what I go by everywhere now except here basically.

SKBT comes from my old user name here which is the name of my bot. I use my name for real name or just my first name for most real robotics forums.

Doomkiller? A name my friends made up for me for I was the only one at my school to finish Doom 2. Without cheating. It kinda just stuck.

I mostly use Doomkiller, or XxDoomkiller, but some other variants include DoomSizor, ukemonster, DawnOfDoom, just plain old Doom and the newly used one, TwoXEdge

I usually call myself Racer X on racing games though

Meganerdbomb is just like the coolest ing name ever. So I use it, cuz I'm the coolest ing person ever. Well, not really, I use it, because it's unique, so I've never had to worry about duplicate names. Oh, and a friend of mine used it to describe some really nerdy kid in school like a looong time ago; that's where I got it.

I chose 'Pwnator' because I pwn. And back then, I had no idea what the word for 'possessor of pwnage' was. So I looked it up, and I donned the name. YEAH

I chose my name because my name is Gareth. My friends call me "Gaz" or "Gazea" and it kinda stuck. I signed up here and, as they say, the rest is history. 

I've used that name everywhere. Neoseeker, Gamefaqs, GTM, MSN etc. I can still remember the day when my older brother first called me that and everyone was like, "Who's that? What a strange name! :O"

I got my name back from the old chatterbox, where everyone could chat. You could just write in whatever name you wanted to pop up and it would pop up for you when typing. I wasn't really thinking, just asking when there would be a new bot exchange. I couldn't think of a name and wasn't a member of many websites, so I just typed in "Somebody" and asked. No answer. I asked again. No answer. Asked again IN ALL CAPS CUZ THERE AWSUM D00D, got flamed a little bit, and got an answer. That was in mid 2008, I joined soon after.

I found GTM in late 2007 back when there was a bot exchange. While looking at bots one day, I came across one where anyone could change the description of the bot. The current description was about how faggy the builder was (with lots of caps, etc.), and there was also a comment from the builder wondering how it got changed. So I typed in my own description, then figured that if anyone knew I did it, I would be in trouble (still wasn't a member yet). So I left for the time between late 2007 and when I joined in 2008.

I first used this name on a very flame-happy forum way back in '06.  I thought people would appreciate the irony of naming myself after Mr. Resetti, the most hated character in videogaming (in my mind).  Usually he goes by Mr. Resetti, but you do learn his real name, Sonny, at one point, so I decided to see if anyone else would pick up on that.

I was never able to think of a better name, so I just reused it on every forum I joined.
