Any particular reason the maces are semitransparent?

Cool skins anyway.  You should make an iron spike skin (or maybe a pole spike) that's all rusty and corroded.

@mad: ill talk with you later about it. just know its not that simple...

@robosh4rk: its called the parrot. the other ones are the blackbird and the bluebird. (both real birds)

@click: yes, actually. Inf wanted an emerald mace, and i just made ruby, sapphire, and diamond as well. i will try that spike skin. ill look for a good picture of rust :)

some more updates. i skinned the HPZ's, and found out how to skin the spikes and spheres seperatly on the maces. (hexadecimals are not easy in RA2 >,<)

Nice motors, Sage.

Sage, to test skin location on components, I just put numbers (1-10) in an orderly fashion covering all of the skin. Then in-game, I look at the desired location to see which number(s) is/are there. Then you know 'generally' where to place/do your editting...

I did this to the extenders in my stock and DSL to make rotating easier. It will work OK.

(EDIT: Also check the GMF's method of wrapping the skin... SAT, Pyramidal,...  If you get stuck let me know.)

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! so, heres the scoop. for some odd reason, inf wanted an emerald mace, which was fine. i made one. but after i did that, he said "i want... ROYBGIV, black, white, and silver, all transparent AND non. i was like O.0. but i was bored, so even though it took me 3 STRAIT HOURS, i did it. check em out: (the skins weren't hard. it was the programming to make them all into a list that was :))

The extenders with the notches are spiffy.

Just one question: why?

Oh and for the extenders, it would be sweet if you could make them blue and the notches silver.

For the Zteks:

Blue => Opal
Black => Obsidian
Yellow => Pyrite

You also could do these Z-teks a gem (or other) color,...and/or in 'semi-transparent'....  It would be interesting to see and might look really cool.

Why make so many damn maces? And I think blue extenders would be awesome. I was going to make them a while back, but I never got around to learning how to play with the .gmf files or whatever they are.

And for me the extendes in blue-red Paisley design, the ramplates in red bricks please with a silky sheen and the z-tecs in Ferrari red with a golden rim.
Just joking.

@cooker- those are all possible cept for the extender. i could easily do it.

@ROBO- like this?

about the maces... i really wasn't going to do them. but i had nothing to do. and II wanted them. kinda like a present to a friend.

@SSG- pick which one. one is more invisible than the other.

im going to do every component with a "ghost" skin as well as the others.

Remember folks, Sage is already doing all the work of making additional styles in dropdown menus.  That means if you want your own custom skins, like a brick pattern ramplate, you just need to edit some of Sage's skins.  Everything else is already there.

Probably what's best for this pack is to include some simple reskins, like the blue, yellow, and black Z-teks, and if people want something exotic like a floral pattern Supervolt, they can change one of the existing skins themselves.
