I don`t like that flipper on cassius. should be done with flippermakers only and reskinn afterwards. also mortis was longer than your version and the color isn`t right i guess. i would paint it in a simillar color as the judge.

Well Thy, it was either that or angle connectors- angle connectors were far too weak for my liking, so I went with Flippermakers based on a steel extender construction.

But yes, I can see what you mean with Mortis- Maybe I'll look into improving it. I went with that particular colour because I can never seem to get the shade quite right.

I would suggest to make customflippermakers with more hp anyway (may a huge flippermaker with the shape of cassius flipper?)

That's an idea- a transparent one constructed like the real one (IE. Polycarbonate sheeting with a metal frame underneath) would be excellent.

I would like to have a custom bodyshell for each botso we had the right dimensions for each but that would be an *ssload of work

Even still, It's good to see that DSL is still being worked on- I hear that Click's working on an improved Firestorm 5.

Indeed- Click mentioned it after finishing that improved El Diablo rep. Hopefully it'll be better than the one currently in DSL- it's got a terrible wedge and a rounded back that wasn't on the original robot.

That's why I altered the DSL 2.1 download to keep the original DSL2 Firestorm, which had a lifter motor instead. Still not quite perfect, but nowhere near as glitchy.

Might be worth thinking about.

And that's the original Fire Storm, isn't it? The one with the Conveyor belts and the pneumatic spike?

si. S3 version. That`s the bot I always had i mind after RW went of the TV screen and I hadn`t internet. I was off robot wars for about 7 years

Well, it's nice to know someone else who has a liking for a Series 3 bot- although I have to wonder- who would win in a fight between Cassius II and Firestorm 1?

It is on the wiki go into the recent changes look for Robot Wars Series 3 Ai and push discussion when you open the page
