Becuz there is no fur in RA2. I think it's not possible to make an armor that ignites every time it touches flames. I've seen some bots burning in BBEANS V2 arena though.

But its not the same :(

Just played it and is absolutely brilliant however there are always criticism so I'll point out a few.

1. All axe bots tend to havok alot when controlled by the player.

For bots like Terrorhurts and X-Terminator you  need to keep pressing one of the buttons for it`s weapon to prevent it from havoking.

Two suggestions I have:

- Nerv Hypnodisc a bit. It appears to be a bit op atm
- Add the Srimech ability to Dominator 2.

Right... to respond to things....


Havoking Axe Bots: What Thyrus said
Adding weight: What helloface said
RW Arena Camera angles: I will most likely get round to it, but could also use some ideas *hint hint* (That's not an excuse to go cray cray with the pictures and suggestions though :P)
Bot Skins: I'm trying my best with what I have available :P
The Bull, Dextrus, ect.: IGNORE THESE BOTS they are no longer being used they're now just an idea that's temporarily being used to fill space in the AI teams
Diotior: What Jonzu said. In regards to BBEANS arena though - there's a code in it that replaces the smoke particle effect with the fire one, giving robots the fire effect. However if I did that just for the sake of 1 robot then that wouldnt look as good for the others. So untill someone can create a new 'fireball' particle effect and enable it to be used via a small flamethrower that activates when a robot has received a certain amount of damage - then I will do it.
HypnoDisc: Will hopefully get round to it. I also want to try and improve it's steering
Dominator 2: Will also get round to it.


But please do remember this is just a small Beta to give you guys a taste of what's to come and buy me more time to work on things. There's still loads that I'd love to do but even some of those might have to come in any later versions.
Damn I should probably put something fancy in this bit huh?

Also, buff flippers a bit and increase HP on Manta's blade.

I don't know if it's because of the new DSL 3 clockwise/counter-clockwise, but Pussycat when upside down spins in circles when you press down.

Ah, thank God it wasn't actually deleted! Had me scared there, but I'm so glad to see the Beta's ready. I've downloaded it now, and I'm looking forward to trying it out.

Roadblock's skin is practically black, Dantomkia is a bit on the weak side, and I had a weird glitch where 259 fell through the closed pit, but other than that, but those were the only issues I had with it in the half hour or so that I messed around with it. Very nice work, Wham.  :smile:

Well, it's impressive, and I truly appreciate all the work and dedication you've put into this, but there are quite a few nitpicks I have to state with all the replicas:
That said, I really don't want to hurt your feelings Wham, it's just a list of things that need fixing. I could probably rectify most of the problems I have highlighted in this myself, except for the model-related ones.

Firestorms flipper is to powerful for its own good when self righting
Dantomkia's flipper seems to be a bit to underpowered
Manta's weapon breaks off far to easily

Besides that and a few other small things its awesome cant wait for the full thing :D

It's just a small thing, and I don't want it to affect your dignity, but the collision mesh for the Dantomkia shell acts like it has a single wedged front, not the double wedge.

Superb so far! One concern of mine is that Chaos 2 and Firestorm seem a bit too slow and hard to turn, though.

Brilliant so far wham. I've only spotted 8 bugs so far.
1. Axe bots can't self right
2. There is an extra collision mesh at the front of DTK
3. Hypno-Disc's turning is way too slow.
4.Some robots (such as Tornado) don't drive straight properly.
5.Some axe bots(mainly X-terminator) havok quite a bit.
6.X-terminator doesn't have enough battery power (Or was it intentional)
7.Some robot skins are backward.
8. Roadblock's body doesn't seem to reflect light properly

But apart from that, Excellent work!

Manta needs a bottom plate (more of a nitpick really) and Barrabis and either Alley Cat or Tiger crash the game, but other than that and the bugs listed above this is outstanding. Keep it up Wham!

This is a brilliant beta. Theconly problem i have is when the revolutionists shell rotates, there is black, instead of blue with stars EXCEPT at one particular point.
