Are you able to do anything with the pit and floor flipper by placing them to the original place?

Yep, was able to lower the walls:

The ones on the left are the height of the original, and the ones on the right are the new ones (they're all the same size now before you start asking if they're even to each other lol). It's not a massive change, maybe about fifth smaller, however from testing it has made a massive difference!

One other small update i've done aswell which I find pretty crucial is the 'drop zone'... zone :P

The orignal zone (as depicted by the red) used to be the same size as the black area.
Now, just briefly driving through the drop zone area won't set it off - you will need to be smack bang in the middle of it to activate it. A small thing that I think has made a massive difference.

And if you was to read my post, you would see that I am planning to :P
Damn I should probably put something fancy in this bit huh?

I hate to double post, but I feel that this deserves its own:

Did someone order a flip around?

Not a lot of tell. The flame pit needs to be moved and the flames themselves need their coordinates moved, aswell as the avoidance lines for the hazards. But, they're rather easy things compared to the ammount of head f***ery that went into flipping this around (the ammount of vertexes and such that needed changing... wow)

Anyway, probably the most sought after change for this arena has now happened. All the rest is just detail :P

Nice Wham!  Very nice!  I'm really happy that you replaced that big ugly fridge.  Have you considered turning lowering the power on the floor flipper?  It was powerful, but not "heavyweights out of the arena from the far end" powerful.

I was just thinking about the lowering the pit slowly. I don`t know if you can trick the physics of the game but would something like this work:

1: that`s the pit when you enter the arena.

2: that`s when you press the pitbutton. I know you can move stuff slowly in a horizontal way like the pitcover in the octagon and skull arena. the light grey bar moves as fast as you program it to the side and the pitcover moves slowly downwards.

know what I mean?

I think it should work, but I do worry slightly that it would create a slightly angled pit drop until it hits bottom.

the corners of the hole in which this block is in should keep it from tipping over i guess.

I dont know if it would work, but something like that at the moment would be out of my abilities :P

And I am trying to look into the pit - there's a few different values in the Hazards file for the pit so guess I'll just have to have a play around with them lol :P

Cool arena, is this the one you were making in the other thread or the DSL one edited? And are you going to keep that crowd texture?

That's absolutely brilliant- massively improved on the original, I must say. Very well done.   :claping

If it is finished though, would it be possible to provide a download link? Don't worry if not, but I was just wondering.
