Sorted out the main menu which Ducky designed.
(Image removed from quote.)
I can't get the options menu to be in the position Ducky showed though. These buttons seem to be positioned relative to a mysterious rectangle at the bottom of the screen and if I place them outside the rectangle it disappears. If anyone knows how to change this could you tell me? Currently only works at full screen highest resolution. Other than that it's all good.
It's definitely looking pretty good so far though, especially with how all the buttons look. Is there any way the background could be animated, I wonder? If there is, then something like the swinging wires and turning cogs of the ED background could be good to replicate.

I think if it was, someone would have found out by now :P

Anyway, new Razer-

Click very kindly sent me the new Razer replica parts. Has been resized to a heavyweight size (as opposed to SHW size) and now works as a proper crusher when AI'd. That is all atm :P
Damn I should probably put something fancy in this bit huh?

In the way of what All Stars, i'm trying to think along the lines of those seen in the different games and merchandise, so i'm hoping in the future to have bots like 101, Suicidal Tendencies (dunno what to use for the claw though), X-Terminator, Bigger Brother, ect. :)
Damn I should probably put something fancy in this bit huh?

I really don't want to be "that guy", but when can we expect an initial release?

Ooh, now that looks good. I remember seeing it as part of the original post announcing DSL3, and I've always liked how it looks. Taking into consideration its size, would a size comparison with another one of your replicas be possible? Thanks.

I'm ok thanks :)

And certainly GF :P

(Still LOLing at the fact that the Razer replica can beat a lot of the other replicas, but still can't beat Pussycat :') )

Just wondering if you guys could link me up with a version of 3DS Max? A lot of replicas that I want to do will require a few custom meshes as opposed to editing pre-available GMFs. I've tried the whole Milkshape ASE to GMF manual convertion many a time, however it just doesn't appear to work (No Collisions, Crashes when clicking attach, ect.)

Thanks guys! :)

Are the current version of 3DSMax usable? I so you can just get it free as a "student".
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

Ah yes, that's looking much more accurate- I remember the old one being twice as big as most of the other replicas put together!  XD

But I definitely like how it looks especially from the side, and considering the damage potential the claw had in that video Click uploaded where it fought the old HypnoDisc, it should be a marvel. When the time comes for an update at some point though, perhaps a later revision could include the scoop front and thicker wheelguards it had in Series 5/Extreme 1?

Talking of it not being able to beat Pussycat actually, that's given me an idea for an easter egg. I suppose if you import Razer into the Bot Lab and beat Pussycat with it for the first time, a tiny 8-bit Ian Lewis could appear in the Match Result box and start dancing to this briefly-

Bit daft I know, but just an idea I had.  :P

Kai - Please post that kind of stuff elsewhere.

And as for those asking for a beta, ect., i've been thinking today that as soon as I have 13 AI Teams done and the UI is finished then I can release a v1.0. Then that leave room for the future versions to have new arenas, added teams, ect.
So everyone please stop asking for a beta, as once I have 13 AI Teams done and a finished UI, or untill Click releases the full DSL 3.0, yo ain't gettin anythang

That sounds reasonable enough. Six Robots to a team, then?

13?  Wouldn't it make more sense to do 15 so that you can do single-player event tournaments?
