So I'm kinda into Ironforge right now, so I figured I could show off whatever I build.
I'll start with my entry for STC's tourney; presenting, Let's go!! Ram bot!!

One car battery under the motors. 3mm aluminum armor. The rest you can see.

interesting motor setup
if something gets under that it's toast though, maybe try a bit of top/bottom armor for at least a couple of buffer hits until you can ram again? Especially because I doubt you'll want to add ballasts on a rammer to avoid getting lifted

Yeah, as is it's a glass cannon. It can kill anything that doesn't get under or behind it, but a few chassis hits and it dies. The Crushing teeth act as pseudo-wedges. They keep it from going over anything that's not an actual wedge. I tried adding ballasts, but it drove like crap afterwards.
Maybe downgrade the scythes for some armor? The motor setup works surprisingly well.

Giant 20-30 KG crushing teeth seems like a waste of weight since they only have normals on the darker/thicker side of the tooth, despite their purpose as a "wedge". Might as well just put an actual skirt hinge wedge on at that point.

Who's the grill on the skin?

Yeah, I tried a skirt, doesn't seem to work as well, weirdly. I figured the whole dark part does damage, so they probably hit somewhat, and they soak up damage real good. The girl is Mai Waifu. (Actually just a random animu chick from /e/.)

Threw together a bot to fight Rier with, and ended up going all-out.
Just in time for Christmas, I present, KRAMPUS!

Popups kinda suck in ironforge, but he does alright.
Weight is 598.4 with 4 ballasts.

did those dark plates just stack like that first try?
its a good design but I think you want to find a way to get more juice and I doubt 1 DDT is as strong as would be good. You can get by on a beta I think. Some of my hw popups have 4 DDTs

Other than that it looks real solid. I'm guessing you're going more for speed to slam somebody out of the arena than pure ddt flipping power.

As the one who has this bot, I do admittedly like that sneaky message underneath the bot.

The bot itself is quite nice. The sickles are a nice touch.

Yeah, it doesn't so much flip as it slams bots into walls then pins them while it hits their chassis. I thought about at least upgrading to a beta, but I'd have to rework the chassis and downgrade the armor (titanium 10), and honestly, it works pretty well as is. I did have more batteries, but I took them out for more weapons/ armor. We'll see how it goes. And yes, those armor plates stacked pretty easily, but only when I put the left one on first for some reason.

Waifu bot for 09's tournament.

weight is 600.00 kgs with 4 ballasts. Armor is Steel 5, so one thing I'm consideringis downgrading armor for more weapons on the disks. Would need to downgrade it quite a lot though.

Waifu is Nao Mariota Pryderi from a Korean MMO called Mabinogi.
She is also objectively better than your waifu, because your waifu is sh*t.

pretty good from what I could tell, but I only have the basic AI to test it on. Hoping the old DSL principle that snapper wedges are hetter than hinge wedges holds true.

Possibly stronger axles? DSL is still behind on fixing those.

From what I've learned, not all burst motos are created equal when it comes to wedginess, though it'skinda a lot of weight to something that otherwiseis only a srimech. Anyway, I just thought of a much better way to build this, but it'stoo late for the tournament. I might build it anyway to showcase it.

My GTMCS bot, an angled HS. It's actually pretty stable, but it's basically screwed against a good wedge bot.
