Troll Physics.

Allow me to direct your attention to the HL2 speed run video.

I understand we already have a topic for speedruns, but I'm talking about the 'troll physics' used in the speed run. There has been plenty of times that physics appear to be ignored in games, sometimes on purpose, like with wall jumping.

But would I be insane to say when I get around to making a game, I might leave such insanity as is pulled off in these video's purposefully in the game? Something about it just seems funny, even as the developer I might laugh at someone beating my game by just completely ignoring physics.

I might turn it into an Ascended Glitch when I get around to coding my own game, its so funny.

Why don't you see for yourself what I'm calling Troll Physics...

EDIT: of course, I'm mostly talking about instances of troll physics you can witness in games, like double jumping, etc, and how little it makes sense.

Starwars Battlefront 2 was LOADED, and I mean LOADED with troll-physics.

But seriously, you could somersault into the back of a couch and end up going inside of a wall.
On-top of that, the game has quite a few "invisible" platforms for which someone could float/jump up to.
It was quite fun

1- My Windows 7 computer wont run it.
2- My other computer that used to run it, no longer runs it, despite the fact its had no real upgrades.

I would give my right arm if I could play it again ;-;

Actually didn't need fixing, its more of a 'play more', since I do touch the game but not very much.
