I have managed to extract the TV Studio arena from Robot Wars: Extreme Destruction. I thought this plan view of the arena might be useful to anyone wishing to mod or to take the plunge and create a new Robot Wars arena. I wouldn't have a clue how to make an arena so please feel free to use this image.

Excellent job! It could be a definite improvement over the current one if skinned right, but we'll somehow have to move the location of the Drop Zone.

But I suppose the pit and flipper on the current arena wont be in the exact same position either. It'd need a lot of work but it would be worth it. There's the textures for the pit release, the control pods and everything else in the arena as well. But is there someone willing to take on this task of modding the current arena?

Considering how many people are interested in this, we should try to turn it into a cooperative mod. Personally, I don't have the time to do it by myself but I would be willing to lend my assistance/expertise. The more people that would be willing to help, the faster and easier it will be to make it. Regardless of how much knowledge of modding you have, your assistance would be much appreciated (as long as you are willing to learn a few simple things).

It might also be easier to start from scratch as opposed to using the current one. I know that I was helping Thyrus to make a more realistic version but its been awhile and I don't remember us getting very far (I was just showing Thyrus the basics). I've also been planning to add the housebots to any of the RW Arena's renditions but, as previously mentioned, I've been kinda busy.

I was hoping you guys would say make a new one! We could add things in such as the pit siren and things. I'm prepared to learn as well, I'd love to help make it.

Wait, if you can do this, than surely you can extract the textures of other arenas?

And if you can, everyone here would appreciate it if you uploaded all the textures in a .zip and sent it our way. This could seriously help the modding community !

Ok'll upload the textures of all of the arenas in a zip. I wasn't sure whether there was as much interest in the others. There in sections though, so I'll piece them together like I did with the Robot Wars Arena.

Pretty awesome. I'm just wondering if you'd need to flip the floor plan over to get the pit and flipper on the right side of the arena.

Ah yes I was thinking about those extra bits. Theres the pit button, the angle grinder metal surrounds (although they are a 3d object of course) and the arena wall metal sections (the parts painted with yellow and black stripes) and the top metal strip of the arena wall. I'll upload those. The current black pit button was annoying me too.
