So does anyone plays it ? I have just finished downloading it this day, and it is much more complex than the 2 :P

Also, tiger uppercutting is way easier with a keyboard now.

I play it, but not on PC. I main Vega and Ibuki (and know a few combos with each). I find it rather enjoyable when not being spammed to death (I may be okay at the game, but I am still not good enough to beat people who spam well).

Ahh, street fighter 4. I have it and Super SSIV on the 360.

I main Juri, Bison and Ibuki. Sadly I don't have live so I haven't actually fought anyone good yet xD

I main Sagat, because he's awesome, and Bison because he can still spam Psycho Crusher like in the good old days (though it's not as efficient now) and still jumps like mad.

Looking forward to unlock Akuma though.

Holy sh**, unlocking akuma is not going to be easy.

Although even on lowest difficulty, getting 8 perfects in a row (even with BISOOOONNN) is hard.

MY OPINION ON CHARACTERS COMPARED TO SF2

Sagat : Favorite character, if that wasn't clear enough. Even better than in the 2 with the addition of Tiger Knee.
Ryu: Like Sagat, but not as good.
Ken: Like Ryu
Dhalsim: Still sucks, unless you play it really well. Glass cannon ahoy.
E. Honda: Now sucks.
Blanka: Has been nerfed. Doesn't spam cannonball attack as often.
Chun-Li: Seems to be less good. Most noticeably in damage and health. Still a solid choice though.
Zangief: As annoying as ever. Keeps spamming it's spinning piledrivers or clotheslines and sh**.
Bison: Overall as powerful as always, that is slightly overpowered. If you time well your Psycho Crusher/Knee Press spam you can win without great problems.
Balrog: Doesn't seem to be as powerful as back then, it still attacks damn well.
Vega: Not as bad as E Honda, but still quite bad for a former SF2 boss, so there's no point in picking it GF :trollface

I don't know it was easy for me.  Lowest setting means you can just throw fireball or something dumb like that.

Holy sh**.

I was on easiest difficulty with bison, did not lose a match, made four or five perfects total with psycho crusher spam, and won.

Then Akuma came, and got promptly beaten by strong kick spam.

NOW I HAVE HIM MWAHAHAHAHA

I dunno, I've found a few combos with him (I still have yet to consistently pull off his ultras). Most notably, diagonal forward+heavy kick (Cosmic Heel), Sweep. Cosmic Heel, standing heavy kick (can sometimes go to sweep or heavy punch if you are fast enough). Rolling Crystal Flash, Scarlet Terror can be a rather good one too (this may be slightly one-sided because he is one of my main characters). In fact, he is one of the few characters that nobody has beaten me with by spamming. They chose him to fight fire with fire, and failed miserably.

On another note, I think that my AI has kind of been screwed over due to playing against spammers consistently (although being unable to beat spammers shows lack of skill, but before my online fighting, I was able to beat Arcade mode on the hardest difficulty, now I struggle to get past the first round).  I suppose that I will just have to try to fight against non-spammy opponents consistently until it evens out.

I main Gouken because I can take out half of people's lifebar consistently with one crossover or link a ultra from a throw, without having to learn all those stupid cancel combos.

Every comp is a joke on the highest difficulty IMO, but then again I grow up at an age where kids actually go to arcade to put quarters in to fight other people.  Playing against comps or ppl online just feels so lame by comparison.

Akuma's ultra or super are the easier to pull off for me, so I think I'm gonna main him. Or maybe Sagat, who is just a game breaker even without tiger shot spam. Or maybe both.

Too bad he's a glass cannon and I can't do Aerial Hadoukens at all, nor do I manage usual hadoukens as well. Maybe I don't have a pad so I can't play correctly.

Glorious 3DS master race dropping in here. Online is a pain, as hadouken is mapped to the TOUCH SCREEN. And not even Vega, my favourite character, can do anything about it. *sigh*.

Unfortunately, the only answer is to go to pro controls and choose to fight people using the same control system as you, although, by the time I was good enough, the damage was already done to my AI opponents. It's bad enough when they can read your inputs, but when they can read your inputs and do an attack at the speed of lite (bad joke at the fact that the touch screen commands are lite controls) it is nigh on impossible to beat them. No delay on Zangief's Lariat/Spinning Piledriver means that he can just grab me out of a combo straight away. I have less trouble with Vega, but with Ibuki, I find it nigh on impossible to beat anything. Walking forward Psycho Crusher has nothing on some of the other spams I have seen.

It does take some practice to learn the moves, but when you do, some things will go more smoothly... saying that, I still can't consistently pull off Vega's Bloody High Claw, it always turns into a Flying Barcelona Attack, EX Flying Barcelona Attack, or the Super version. When I try for Splendid Claw, it turns into Rolling Crystal Flash (if I am remembering the input correctly). I really don't like lite control spammers though. Guile ones are probably the worst, spamming Flash Kick L or Sonic Boom L, even if you manage to get past the Sonic Booms, as you go to start a combo, you have been Flash Kicked and the enemy has retreated. It's still amusing to watch them rage quit if you beat them at their own game, especially if you knock them down, put sunglasses on, and then kill them with the ultra.

1: Set ALL your Ryu binds to Hadouken
2: Set L/R to EX Hadouken
3: Choose Ultra as "Metsu Hadouken"
4: ???
5: PROFIT

I never actually set L/R to any special moves. My setup for buttons has always been B/A/R was L/M/H kick, respectively, and Y/X/L was L/M/H punch, respectively. If I am playing on Xbox 360 with my friend, RB is all kicks, LB is all punches. As for the screen with pro controls, I have top left as all kicks, top right as all punches, bottom right as throw, and bottom left as focus attack (not that I use them that much (most used is all kicks as I am practicing Bloody High Claw)).

Although, with Guile it is
1. Set top right of screen to Flash Kick L
2. Crouch back at the start of match
3. Tap the screen whenever the opponent comes near you
4. ???
5. A Winrar is you.

It was still fun to watch people fail to kill me in mirror matches with characters that I knew well.

Can't you just beat hadouken spammers via jump + forward + strong kick, then when at melee range pummel him with focus attacks or other faster attacks than the Hadouken ?

And guile doesn't NEED anything else than flash kick and sonic boom really. If only sonic boom was faster to do.

And I use SDF as punches, XCV at kicks, Q and W as triple punch/triple kick, arrow keys, G for grab, B for taunt and N for focus attack. Or something like that.
