Troll Rank 2 players hard with this design.

Pilot can fit on left/right/back, though the back is specifically made obvious so it works as decoy.  Everything I used is the cheap version so it doesn't take away from my main design.

Hey! I've seen that today! that very same design! In the ice map! I tried to get into your cube but I was just wide enough to not fit.

Yeah, my swagmachine's tier 2.

I haven't tried any of the troll designs though I will in the future. Tiny profile = you win.

Also abusing the fact that players tend to aim around it. Maybe I'll try making a three cube design sometime.

If you feel like sticking to this game, share your nickname.

Also an update on my IronClad. Gradually but surely becoming orange. I also bought the best of the front guns placed in the prow of the ship. Marvelous gun but I still don't use it because I don't feel ready for tier 4 yet. If I remove the big gun, I go back to the very limit of the tier 3, so you can see how much space that gun takes up.

Just some tips on wheels.

Steering Wheels does not have max speed.  So all you need are 2 L1 ST (ST give nice armor for 1 cpu, plus it's cheap anyway) and 2 high power wheel motors in the back.  You can have more pairs of steering wheels in the front for insurance and make them wider for stability, while keeping the wheel motors safe in the back and close together.  You can also skip the wheel motors completely for Hoverpads or Rockets.

This also makes dual drive kinna useless since you gotta buy 4 minimum instead of 2.  Plus you have to protect all 4 wheels or risk losing  mobility.

Right and my name is SaveTheWhales.

I can say it's pretty hard and I wasn't successful building one. It needs perfect balance to stay leveled. Any part shot off will completely destabilize it. That's why most flyers around are small and compact.

Challenge Accepted

Edit:  Turning thrusters location changed since video to improve stability.

Comes with 7 guns and still got some ways b4 hitting tier 2, so i can upgrade some of the thrusters when I get more RP.

Most of the supports are build with angles to save weight.  Just build a solid column with cube, connect another column of angles, then remove the cubes, and you end up with a solid column of angles with same armor and 1/2 the weight.

How does that thing turn without strafing? I assume it can't turn staying still?

My thing sucks, but since i learned the wheel speed thing I think I can make it more maneuverable at least.

Need to finish an essay now, I'll post a pic tomorrow.

Or you can just watch the video

Here's a new Bot Design

8x wheel dual drive 2 on a 5 width base.  It's pretty slow but has exceptional handling, which seems more important for winning fights after many tests.  I even have a pair of Dual Drive 3 ST and Wheel Motor 3 ST sitting in my inventory but I choose to leave them out.

11 box wide with 11 guns, so not only are they at 3 different levels, each gun takes up a different column so self-blocked shots are rare.

And of course, 5x blinding headlights to make sure my opponent can't see when I am rushing in, so I can aim at their guns but they can't aim at mine.  Like RA2, De-Weapon == Win.

Behold, NARYAR'S MAILED FIST! (All caps necessary)

It's a bit slow and it had stability issues (aka inverts itself), I fixed that with heavy blocks.

Not really tested in battle, apart from when it inverted itself on a whim.

Decent speed, not agile, but then again can't make that fast until higher tier.

Although being a nice ride for its tier, challenge failed. Flyers are somewhat easy to make but a flyer in the shape of a plane is not. I can't see the plane there.

Also I hope they tune down the headlights flare because it's ridiculously bright, specially in day time.
