That way it is still called DS, but I though it meant something different now. It is different from the DS series, eventhough the looks are a bit of the same.
SotG, you knew what DS in 3DS stood for, right?

Yeah I'll get one, just not right away.

I didn't get a DS until the DS Lite came out. Everyone else in my family had the regular old DS with the dim screen and didn't want to fork over the cash for a whole new system just for a bright screen. So when I finally got a DS of my own it was kind of a "ha ha, sucks to be you, good things come to those who wait" kind of moment.

I wonder how long it will be until Nintendo makes a 3DS Lite or something similar.

You must be pretty strong-willed. I can stop myself from buying the newest game system for a few months after the release date, but I crack as soon as they realease a game I want. (In the case of the 3Ds, it will probably be Paper Mario).

What I really want for 3DS: Paper Mario, Star Fox remake, Resident Evil Mercenaries, and Ocarina of time.

if it wasn't for the new Blazblue and Medarot game in the making s and there being a Persona remake, i would have kept my old NDS, you know the first model. i've had it for years now. got it around the time that the DSlite came out.

even these days i am still active with my DS. then i'm either playing Medarot DS or i'm toying around in Korg DS10.
i also love the Advanced Wars games.

They should make a console which is basically a 3D iPad, strategy games would be awesome on it as you units would pop out of the screen like holograms.

Nah, it was more that I had other games I was still playing at the time and didn't need any new ones.

No doubt that will be the case again with the 3DS, with Pokemon White and Radiant Historia both on my to-play list.

As soon as I had an opening though, I would probably cave for Paper Mario.
