I'd use DSL bars (if they are actually lighter, I can't remember) and upgrade to Grannies. Other than that I love it.

and dont use dsl bars, they'd hit the ground and ruin it imo. iirc vlads have a better grip than grannies but i cant remember, they might have more hp.

yeah, i think vlads do have more grip, and i'm surpirised that i made a decent, relatively competitive bot for a change

yeah, i was using dsl bars for stabilisers before but they needed a much weightier setup to stop it hitting the ground and just made it look bad in general

You do get 40cm wide DSL Bars, but they are a LOT heavier than skirts. Even the Steel ones. And they don't offer a great increas in HP, IIRC. Stick to skirt stabilisers, but I might try to get a poly extender holding the hammers instead of a titanium one. It's not as if it's going to be hit very often at all.

just swapped the ti extender for a polycarb one and thanks for that as that exteder wasn't hit once in testing and that gives me more weight so i've upgraded the armour to steel 3

sheets are stronger and weigh a lot less than bars btw. you have seen heavyweights with bars because sheets arent long enough but on here they are.

it doesnt really need bottom protection because if something gets under it the force from the weapon forces it to flip until it hits the ground and stabilises again.
also, new trinity, aralak:

3 ants, techno wheels, steel 3 armour, etek drive motors, 2 long2 pistons with 3 70kg hamers on each, the chassis is as small as it could possibly go and as low as possible

you can get rid of the multiextender holding the drive on and put it on the extender holding the piston on

did what ty4er said and that left enough weight to upgrade to wbc wheels and now it spins faster and does more damage

Chassis could be a smidge smaller, extenders seem to weak.

bots never get close enough to hit the extenders and how would i get the chassis to shrink only hal a square on the grid rather than a full one ? will i need to use the trov glitch ?

Trov glitch isnt useful here unless you use a donut which even I can't do. One more thing is it stable with the WBC wheels?

Uncheck the "Snap To Grid" option when you're making the chassis in Step 1.

st3 is pretty bad... you may want to upgrade to ti5 (reduce the chassis if you must)

(that is if it still has steel 3)

the reduction in the chassis allowed for steel 5 armour, it is very stable with the wbc wheels but i have a version with wbc wheels and another with technos
