Show your insides, add much more weapons, use smaller chassis, change your showcase's name to something more general and finally built to weight limit.

I don't know about you guys but i'm a sucker for funky chassis shapes.
First things first, your DSL Drill bot needs more than one ant, unless they're stacked. Which isn't much better. Stacking in DSL and components completely cutting through others is frowned upon unless the robot is specifically unrealistic. And as these look more in a IRL style i'm guessing that's not what you're going for. :P With the weight you have left over you could upgrade those slimbodies to NPC fast left/rights and that would make it really fun to drive. And then you could probably upgrade the weapons on the disc aswell to make it more damaging.
You could save weight by using poly extenders attatched to the ME's on the base instead of more ME's.

I like NienThousand, the bar looks like it cuts through the motor though (see above). Other than that, get rid of those stacked batteries! And maybe upgrade the drive to slimbodies, upgrade the armour, or do something else to get rid of that spare weight.
As a general rule one ant per spinning motor works well for a 3-4 minute match. Burst motors need to be powered fully to what they say in the description though.

(Also cheatbot2 components usually are overpowered, I saw those judge panels!)

it's weapons are pretty damn weak.

The FS is too messy. Basically, keep to a simple design unless a complex design is the point of the bot, because most often simplicity = better in Ra2.

@Gold Digger
1.Downgrade the motors to piglets and add MOAR RAZORS
2.Remove all of the decorations and add a simple trapper.
3.add a skirt/metal hinge wedge (or 2).

Build the bar spinner to the weight limit. Also hypno wheels give .2(?) more grip than DSL wheels for the same weight or 1kg less, depending on which variant you use so switch to those on the bar spinner. Also 1 ant per spin motor so you could drop 2 ants.

For Nienthousand,
try to add light doublesided teeth to one side of the beater bars.
That'd look cool, I think.
Also what's its armor?

Camemberta won the third prize at BB9.
Also apparently she was real lucky.

Ti1 i like using Ti1 cause its lightweight and its durability is somewhat best for lightweights.

Not bad in the space department. Underweight though IIRC

If you want top-protection so badly, switch to a DSL bar. It's better weight wise and serves for some pretty good defense. ME's outside the chassis are pretty useless, and if you can make it invertible then you're just wasting weight with the srimech. Might need more weapons, looks like it'll get deweaponed pretty easily.
