Show your insides, add much more weapons, use smaller chassis, change your showcase's name to something more general and finally built to weight limit.

I don't know about you guys but i'm a sucker for funky chassis shapes.
First things first, your DSL Drill bot needs more than one ant, unless they're stacked. Which isn't much better. Stacking in DSL and components completely cutting through others is frowned upon unless the robot is specifically unrealistic. And as these look more in a IRL style i'm guessing that's not what you're going for. :P With the weight you have left over you could upgrade those slimbodies to NPC fast left/rights and that would make it really fun to drive. And then you could probably upgrade the weapons on the disc aswell to make it more damaging.
You could save weight by using poly extenders attatched to the ME's on the base instead of more ME's.

I like NienThousand, the bar looks like it cuts through the motor though (see above). Other than that, get rid of those stacked batteries! And maybe upgrade the drive to slimbodies, upgrade the armour, or do something else to get rid of that spare weight.
As a general rule one ant per spinning motor works well for a 3-4 minute match. Burst motors need to be powered fully to what they say in the description though.

(Also cheatbot2 components usually are overpowered, I saw those judge panels!)

No need to worry about empty space no moar for gold digger! Plus i modified NienThousand's blade to look more realistic. IT NO LONGER PASSES THE MOTOR!  :bigsmile: (https://gametechmods.com/uploads/images/59275Untitled.png) And here is gold digger. NO MOAR EMPTY SPACE! There's still alot of empty space on the second one.

yeah. What do you guys think of NienThousand?

it's weapons are pretty damn weak.

The FS is too messy. Basically, keep to a simple design unless a complex design is the point of the bot, because most often simplicity = better in Ra2.

@Gold Digger
1.Downgrade the motors to piglets and add MOAR RAZORS
2.Remove all of the decorations and add a simple trapper.
3.add a skirt/metal hinge wedge (or 2).

Thanks for the advice but, They aren't decorations

Build the bar spinner to the weight limit. Also hypno wheels give .2(?) more grip than DSL wheels for the same weight or 1kg less, depending on which variant you use so switch to those on the bar spinner. Also 1 ant per spin motor so you could drop 2 ants.

For Nienthousand,
try to add light doublesided teeth to one side of the beater bars.
That'd look cool, I think.
Also what's its armor?

Ti1 i like using Ti1 cause its lightweight and its durability is somewhat best for lightweights.

Not bad in the space department. Underweight though IIRC

If you want top-protection so badly, switch to a DSL bar. It's better weight wise and serves for some pretty good defense. ME's outside the chassis are pretty useless, and if you can make it invertible then you're just wasting weight with the srimech. Might need more weapons, looks like it'll get deweaponed pretty easily.

Deweaponed? Naahh. it actually lasts for a long time. but replacing the ramplate with the DSL bar? Thats a heck of a good idea! Thanks man!

Oh here, i updated Grinder 1.6 to Grinder 1.8! :D So here he is!                                                                                               (https://gametechmods.com/uploads/images/94581Grinder 1.8 Showcase!.png)

Slimbodies =/= weapon motors.

All weapon motors: Piglets, all Perms, TWM3R, TWM3R LX, E-Teks, Double sided E-Teks, Chained TWM3Rs
All drive motors: Copals, Astros, Ghey powered steering units, Slims, TWM3s, TWM3 LXs, TWM3R Drive

Ditch the spikes on the back, your back will only be attacked if you manage to expose it somehow. DSL wheels aren't the best option. Hypnos have .2 more grip for the same weight or 1kg less, depending on which style of wheel you're using. If you're looking for invertability, go vlads or grannies depending on whether you need bigger wheels or an extra 4kgs. Cut down on battery spam, you only need 4 ants, and less empty space. Build to the weight limit too.

Try looking. You'd be able to see the slims. The advice you should be giving is OMGWTFCHEATMOTORSBBQ!11!!1

But really, you need to use different weapon motors to be legal for most tourneys. Otherwise, feel free to use whatever, lets be honest.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm fairly certain flatmotors are slims.

If flatmotors were slims, they would be called Slimbodies, wouldn't they, not flatmotors?

So flatmotors are cheat motors? I just thought I remembered people calling slims flatmotors, that's all.

This guy actually uses quite a bit of cheatbot parts in the bots I've seen

that first face spinner bot had Judge armor around it

Unless you are going for IRL you should never use cheatbot2 parts.If going for IRL then Judge Bursts and Lifter Motor are a go ahead.
