Lalalalalalala

Eye eye 2 (the original being like page 2/3 of this showcase). Both are at the core the same bot (4 ants, plastic 5, npc, perm 80s), but I thought I'd fiddle with the weapon setups a little.

Why the hinge on the flipper seg you may ask? Well, I had some armour there....and I couldn't put a thing on the chassis. But when i removed the armour, I forgot

EDIT: ooo, weights. The top one is 800 dead and the bottom is 796.2 IIRC.

Nice, second looks cooler, but I can imagine the first being more effective

I like them both, but I could see the second one being more effective aswell actually.
The firestorm flipper on the top of the first one is, I presume, to aid self righting, but is mostly weight wasted in comparison to the second one.
It could also act as some food for a VS.
I much prefer the second one, probably also has a better chance against popups.

The second just looks a little, messy, to me

Funny, i'd say the first one was the more messy one.
Guess we'll just agree to disagree then  ;)

Nope, and I rarely put something on to use up the weight (in DSL. :P). Its there to stop bots going up over the top...like a juggler. And it also works as top armour :D

Meh, I didn't mean that you were using it to eat up weight, I meant that if it's there to aid self righting then it's not all that usefull overall while the second bot probably doesn't need it as it probably can self right itself with the spinners.
Still don't like it there, as top armour it isn't THAT usefull IMO, and I doubt any bot's would go over that design anyway, so it's pointless in that respect.

I like both of them. Do the spinners on the second one spin up or down?

Up, and the first ones spin inwards....which means it has a tendency to get stuff jammed in the discs >.< May have to change that.

Yes, beacause over the top hammers are such common designs
Besides, I think he'd be safe from them anyway without the firestorm flipper.

And I also agree with NAr when it comes to those disks, although if you gave it two wedges instead of the one that wouldn't be so much of a problem

So, I've followed your advices, added some Nar rage material to balance it all out, and voila. Also, I discovered a potential problem with Clowning Around 4.2. Oh, and flails are stupidly OTT.

More shots available on request. :P

Do the razors go all the way through the plows, if so, unrealistic. Sorry.

Look at the bots name in the top left ;D

Theoretically, since the bot only needs the part below the discs, you could cut off the top halfs. But yeah, probably
unrealistic

It's fine.  Theoretically the plow can just come in 2 pieces, connected to the chassis with 2 extenders.

I mean, people get away with having popup taking up the whole length and width of the second wedge, this is nowhere near as outrageous as that.

I suggest replace the entire top armor setup with an ant blade + potter wheel, or another plow.

Put the potters wheel on, leaving the disc to put a frontal disc as slight protection.

Now, Drop Goal 3.

In the chassis theres 2 MEs, 3 ants and a small CB.

Oh, and why is Scorp's showcase locked?

Why not use normal TWNMRs to get a better turning circle and wider stance.
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

There are lots of ways you could lighten the side stabilisers.
Then add better external armour.

And my showcase was locked because of a little disagreement with Naryar, but JB just re-opened it, saving me from hijacking Nar's showcase for the lulz

I made the side stabilisers heavier this time so they last longer. :P
But please do tell, my addled mind has no ideas xD

DG2 is probably better though :P

And..this thing.
