Public Domain battle music?
« on: October 31, 2011, 04:45:45 PM »
Does anyone know where I can find some public domain battle music?  Typing the phrase into google turned up squat.  I've been offered Youtube Partnership, and I don't think  I can use the Robot Wars songs if I want to make money.

Thanks in advance.

I just use Oblivion music, but that almost certainly out of the question.
So you managed to get an offer for you proper account?
Better than GK since 2009.

Dunno if it's a partnership per se, but I got an e-mail this morning saying I now have the option to enable adsense - with the caveat that if the video doesn't pass their scrutiny they can delete it.

For now I've just monetized the Mario Paint songs, they're like the only vids of mine with over 1000 views anyway.

too long; didn't watch: Just use any music that's had it's copyright expire or that was created by the government

...or claim fair use
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

I can get revenue for my videos, even though they are barely popular.

Thanks for your help guys.  I actually did manage to stumble across a site where theyoffered free public domain music as long as I credited them.  Think people will be bothered by me changing up the music starting next tournament? Personally I'm getting a little tired of using the same four or five tracks every time. Anyone who watches my vids, feel free to weigh in yourself.
Site is here:

That's alright, Sonny. Although, as long as they're still used somewhere, that'd be quite nice.

Talking of which...what is the next event you're doing? I never got an opportunity to ask.

Trophy winners.  A fair few are out because of being inDSL, but I still found 24 usable ones (most of the replicas I've done recently are going to be in)

Oho, I'm looking forward to that very much- having checked who won trophy, I'm hypothesising that quite a few of my favourites will be in there   :approve:

Talking of which...have you seen my new Mortis rep in the Replica Thread?

I should just stop making videos if nobody watches them.

Sonny, keep going strong.

Robot wars could probably be used as fair use. Don't rely on me for that one though.
