Title: Public Domain battle music?
Post by: Resetti's Replicas on October 31, 2011, 04:45:45 PM: Does anyone know where I can find some public domain battle music? Typing the phrase into google turned up squat. I've been offered Youtube Partnership, and I don't think I can use the Robot Wars songs if I want to make money.

Post by: Resetti's Replicas on October 31, 2011, 04:58:08 PM: Dunno if it's a partnership per se, but I got an e-mail this morning saying I now have the option to enable adsense - with the caveat that if the video doesn't pass their scrutiny they can delete it.

For now I've just monetized the Mario Paint songs, they're like the only vids of mine with over 1000 views anyway.

too long; didn't watch: Just use any music that's had it's copyright expire or that was created by the government

...or claim fair use

I actually did manage to stumble across a site where theyoffered free public domain music as long as I credited them. Think people will be bothered by me changing up the music starting next tournament? Personally I'm getting a little tired of using the same four or five tracks every time. Anyone who watches my vids, feel free to weigh in yourself.

Oho, I'm looking forward to that very much- having checked who won trophy, I'm hypothesising that quite a few of my favourites will be in there :approve:
