I don't see the point and have never seen any legal DSL bots use it.

Stock takes like 3x the amount of time to build pretty much the same thing.Unless you really want highly unrealistic bots like 36HS (which kinna functions like a FSS in DSL anyway), DSL is an easier platform to work with for the same results.
...People are building less stock because fewer builders have learned how to properly build in recent years...
