Hi,

With the sound of the "unofficial" weight classes (BW/AW/SHW) becoming official for DSL 3.0, I wonder if there might be rival BW/AW/SHW bots with the "theme" of the original stock bot teams? It could be pretty cool, although if this isn't in DSL 3.0, that's okay, too.

Try the starcore AI pack. (v. 3 or 4) The bot are much better, plus it has AW-BW-SHW bots.

I think he was wondering more about the teams in DSL 3.0.

No, hes talking about the icons to indicate LW, MW and HW. In DSL 3 there is going to be one for AW, BW and SHW too. And he is asking if these are going to be in stock game too? I think it could be done, but im not sure if anyones going to do it.

AW/SHW/BW bots for AI teams (Red Zone, Team Spark, etc...)

Looks like I was right this time.

The answer? - in DSL 3.0, probably. Now it's possible to have 16 random teams from the whole list of them (apparently) ... Red Zone and the likes could be original teams.

In stock? Well, Starcore 3 (and soon 4) nullifies the point. Unless you want a realistic challenge.

I've thought about doing this. Put all the replicas in teams together, and have the last three slots of the stock teams be AW, BW, and a racing bot.

When the time comes (once I get a good handle on the replica-improving, probably) I think I'll start accepting submissions from the community for AWs, BWs, and racers. I'll release the drag strip arena first too, so you can test your bots.

this is a good idea thats should be done, like maybe for steelyard dog an AW cross between there light and heavy? (I gotta do this in my AI mod pack)

Nice Half-year Bump, Buddy.

Anyway, I suppose having Antweights and Beetleweights in those teams might not be a bad idea. However, only a couple could have SHWs, preferably from teams that can create a good "Theme" from it.
EG. A Yeti-themed one for the North Polers, or perhaps even a Car-Crusher themed one for the Scrappers? = P
