I like how nobody reacting to CF showing up was actually around in 2004.

Remember when PCs were in such a state that the Battlebox and 4 robot battles would lag computers?

It's easy for me to remember. But I only know the feels because of my crappy laptop.

Do I ever, I spent a pretty penny on a top of the line Pentium 4 3.2GHz and a Radeon X800 XT to play smoother back then. I still have that bucket of bolts sitting around somewhere. If I can manage to crack it open I have a couple things I never had a chance to really post. Like a corny cherry shaped hammer object Lu-Tze made for me for my birthday long ago.

Frezal's probably the only one.

I think him, ACAMS and to4st are the only three people from back in the day who still visit.

I remember getting it as a birthday present alongside Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory. Still enjoy RA2 now and again by playing with AI bots. Gave up on modding it since time and good ideas are completely exhausted.

I also remember how awful my usernames were at the time.

What do you mean? Usernames from over 13 years ago are the best! Amirite?

Of course. Joined the original RA2 forums Dec 19th 2003 myself. Had the name for a year or so before that though, but it was supposed to be for a character. Ended up with this name because my emails for my confirmation emails never showed up for my first two accounts. Very unoriginal names of "Zoid" and "Shield Liger"... I was like 11 or whatever at the time. Got banned for a time because that got found out, but there's a loophole; having parental permission/ supervision got around the under 13 rule. I think the permission part was supposed to be notarized, not that I knew that at the time, and I certainly didn't have my mom watching everything I did online. Meh.

I wonder how many people that i knew back in the day are still around here?  So sad they never made a better Robot game then RA2/mods.  Every couple years I wander back over here and am surprised this place has gotten so big and is still really active.  Still see some old names too...  back then the forum wars were ever raging and none stood too long back in... god i can't even remember the year.   Good to see the final victor and the best one (arc was ok too! n_n) still going strong.
