aww slightly overweight.

Don't worry, I fixed that with Alphasim's Reality Force Pack. It now weighs about 500kg (Christ, that's heavy), so now it's much closer to actually being in the Heavyweight Category.  However, I wanted it to be in the Heavyweight class anyway, so weight wasn't a concern for me, except for fine-tuning the speed of the robot.

Well folks, I'm posting a Triple Threat of Replicas here today, consisting of a Winning RW Tag-Team, and a Series 3 Semi Finalist.

OK, first, here's the Standalone robot...Panic Attack, from Series 3, Armed with new lifting forks and a Self-righting mechanism, it can really go in the arena. It's also fast and has strong armour.

And then, there's the Tag-Team. It's Ming 2 and Rick, the Winning team for the "UK vs. USA Tag-Team Terror" for the Short-Lived Nickelodeon Robot Wars Series.

Ming 2
OK, so it's not exactly the same version of Ming which competed in that Competition (It was actually Ming 3, but I'll make a replica of him soon), but It's still part of the same Series, nonetheless. It has a lifting nose-cone on the front, designed to lift opponents up, pull them up onto the body, and in the process, Pop them over with a powerful flipper built into the top plate. And it works surprisingly well!

Rick
The sequel to Maverick, this one made it to its Heat Final in Series 5, before eventually losing to Razer. It can work opponents over with a combination of a powerful front flipper, and a Face Spinner on the back. It can both Run Upside-Down, and Self-Right.

As you can see, it's quite a departure from the original two Cassius robots, in the fact that it has a flipper which fires upwards, rather than forwards. It retains the CO2 spikes from Cassius 2, but are mounted on the sides, and used for self righting. It even has a chewblade!
On top of that, it's fast and has strong armour too, making it a real force to be reckoned with in battle.

any pic of the real one?

No, because I saw it in an edition of "Real Robots" magazine, which I lost recently. However, there is a plan for it on Rex Garrod's website.
And the Probophobia replica is quite good, too. Can its spikes actually lift opponents up, though?

Actually, he did make it and entered it into live events. However, he didn't enter it into Series 4 because of an incident he saw where a crew member was injured after a robot wasn't switched off properly. After that, he vowed never to enter RW again until the Safety Regulations had been improved, which they never were, sadly.
It's a shame really, it looked like a bloody good robot.

I haven't touched that replica in three years, but I still kept it.  I could probably do a lot better if I tried again today.

I've just built even more replicas, folks! Again, it's a pack of three.

Our First Contender is Dominator 2, in its Series 6 Persona. I concealed the wheels (Just like the original robot), and gave it new Silver Titanium Armour, the same kind used in Nuclear Submarines. Its axe lets it self-right, too.

Next up is Onslaught. OK, I know it's already been done, but I thought I'd show the world my attempts at it. It's very quick and manouverable, working in conjunction with the lifting shovel in the front to sent opponents reeling. It self rights just like the real thing.

Finally, we have Mortis, in it's Series 3/4 flavour. With possibly some of the strongest armour in the History of RW (Titanium, Carbon Fibre and Kevlar, coated in a layer of Silicon Carbide), it's nearly unstoppable without a flipper. Watch for the new lifting arm, complimenting that ferocious Tanto Axe Blade, it's capable of both flipping and self-righting with ease.

I didnt think that one was a Heavyweight though.. that was a better version of his "robot challenge" design.... I heard Rex was not to thrilled seeing the floor flipper (it was his original design for a stunt ramp for actors in movies before making a robot with it)

anyway.. Mortis looks good.. have you thought about DSL ? the steel or aluminum extenders would be better then the stock ones

Agreed. And it wouldn't because it's a heck of a lot smaller. That ain't no 1200kg SHW with powerful motors.
I made a middleweight version of Shini (I wonder why... :P) and it's hardly tippy at all.

Mortis looks good btw, don't like the 'new Silver Titanium' armour on Dominator 2 though, doesn't look right XD

I suppose, it looked a little bit small to be a heavyweight. However, I do remember it fighting M2 (A HW) at a live Event, so It could be a Heavyweight.
And thanks for your comments on Mortis. I do also have DSL 2.1, but I  personally don't really like using it as much as stock. I sometimes end up staring at the Giant list of custom parts, and end up spending some time wandering what to do!  = P
