NFX.showcase/custom
« on: April 08, 2012, 05:09:30 AM »
Yep. I've finally figured out how to modify components rather than just skin them. A bit. Opening shop with a component to help Cllickbeetle along with DSL 3.

Same as the normal rubber wheel, but with another AP on the outside to attach weapons and so forth. As in the picture. And doesn't reverse direction on wedges or stuff.

Gonna be doing the same thing with others wheels, hopefully.

You could do hexies if you wanted to. Won't make it go any faster, though, and I'm not sure if it would stop or not if one of the wheels got knocked off. Will test that later. In the meantime, same thing with the Vlad Wheel.

They are already double-sided.

Actually, I was thinking of putting sawblades on the next wheels I did, provided they were big enough. And I just put something on the wheels to show the extent of what you can do with them.

Got to thinking, instead of a weapon, you could place a disc or a hexplate on there, depending on the size, as that would cover more of the wheel and defend it even better.

I think he means the normal ones. The chewblades are double sided (so you can make a drum like bot) but the other ones can't.

Don't think this warrants a new topic, but I've been fiddling with the UI as well. I want to learn a few .gib things first before I show some other stuff, but this is what the status bars look like after I got my hands on them.

Ooh, now that looks good- much more sleek and stylish than the original Stock HUD   :approve:

I agree. I also won't mind having this in my DSL to be honest.
