Metal pole from a old punching bag my mum used to have. She didnt use it. Seriously, if THE MIGHTY NARYAR had it it would be a mutestick.
Fairly blockable with my shield, though    :approve:
Inb4 you miss block and he hits you right on the head.
The good thing about those types of shields is that they're easy to manouver- ergo easy to move around if he keeps changing the direction he tries to hit in. Knowing him, he'd probably be all "YAAAAAAARRRRGGGHHH BASH HIM HE INSULTED CHAOS IN THE TORPEDO", so he'd be fairly easy to stop and counter-attack.

Depends how much force is behind the blow. Even if the shield is good quality, your arm is still gonna recieve the force from the blow, but the shield will deflect the actual object.

Just hope that he's not too strong.

=> Implying GF's toy shield is any good for parrying anything else than foam weapons.

Not a toy, Nary. It's a solid metal one.

Having an all metal replica of Link's shield isn't pathetic at all...

Well, I've certainly never heard Link go 'Oh no, a stick! My one weakness!'...

...I've certainly never heard Link, to be honest.
You'd be hard pressed to, he never speaks. Unless you count the one in The Wind Waker, and even then, that's only one line.
That...was...my...point.

Nah. To me, knives are the coward's weapon. And even then, with different sets of things from different eras, it's comparing apples and oranges- of course a decent gun's going to beat medieval-based weaponry.

Most certainly, guns are pragmatic and efficient (Except when you're out of ammo, have the wrong ammo, etc). And a coward would run and hide rather than use a gun.

Still... Manly men use melee weapons.

Besides, it certainly doesn't have the same feel to crush an opponent with your fists/melee than with a gun.

Also swordfights are cooler and more dramatic. You know it.

^this^

What would be everyone's melee weapon of choice?

I would go with a warhammer

Bravo, another Ninjato fan! Katanas are alright, but they're a bit mainstream.

For Primary Weapons, I'm wondering if I'm the only one who likes the idea of a Flamethrower.

Indeed a risk, but it'd definitely be cut with a bulletproof fuel tank.

Everyone prefers the idea of a Minigun.

Wahey, always good to break the mould now and then. Besides, it's worth having one just for the purpose of making Jonzy cry   >:D
