What about the price that you can get from american house spider venom?
It doesn't matter whether or not they know how much people will pay for it. They need to know how to actually get the venom. I do, but I don't think they will.

But for that matter, why would anyone want House Spider Venom?  :rage

Assassins as a paralysing venom? I dunno, but it is worth £9750 a millilitre. Petrol is only 1p a millilitre...

Suppose. But apart from hitmen and doctors looking for antivenom, still don't see why people would want it!

Especially considering how hard it is to milk the little bastards of venom   ;)

Not really. Just give them a blast of freeze-spray, and apply tweezers to their fangs and catch what pours out...about 1/4 of a ml? But defrost them and let it replenish, then do it again. Simplz ;)

I don't like spiders. I'll just get my uncle in Michigan to do it. Then he can just give me some of the money! He'll probably get nabbed by the RSPCS - Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Spiders...

Was there really any need to post a picture of Tegenaria Duellica?

I hate you all.

Well, GF93 (and technically Marty, but I didn't look at the picture so I'll let him off). I'm actually holding off tears. This may have held back my attempts to get over my phobia considerably.
