Hey, EVO, you know you are thinking of doing train photography? Well, I think the best pictures and videos of steam trains is when they burst out of tunnels, with all the steam blasting forward in front of them. Iit looks awesome!

You mean Fascism. Nazism was just a form of it in Germany, and then championed by Hitler.

Sorry about the off topic, but what aspects of "Nazism" are you referring to? Before Hitler, National Socialism existed in Germany headed by the Strasser brothers (Gregor and Otto - the leaders of the National German Workers Party), and anti-semitism was also rampant, so you're right in a sense. However, it's most accurate to say that Hitler invented Nazism by combining nationalistic, fascist and anti-semetic/racist/anti-homosexual ideologies into one system. This had not been done before in Germany nor anywhere else (although it is true that he wanted to copy Mussolini's fascist regime in Italy), so you're not completely right.

They're giving the internal workings an overhaul so it can return to line service, most likely on heritage routes.

As far as i know, the loco was rescued in 1966, about the time when the show started. I cant remember. But thats what i read.

Also, you can obviously see the similarity between A1's and A2's, the only way you can tell them apart is a1's go from No.60114-60163 and A2's are about 60523 onwards or something

BLue Peter started in 1958, so it might be a possibility.

30 years after being rescued. It managed to thrash off a bit of its coupling rods, in a 36 second wheelslip, apparently would have reached 140mph if it was moving!!
