To be honest, I'm struggling to properly like this system. Sure, it might motivate people to stay on topic more often, but we've already seen members such as nicsan, GF, and -I know it's not a good idea to use him as an example, but - Sparkey, complaining about his low rating and "why don't people like me" and such, and then people rate him down because he's complaining, and it just gets locked in a vicious circle. S'just a question of getting everyone to actually use the system properly.
 
My view is, it's just a random number, ignore it. Doesn't change how I go about stuff here.

Sorry 'CAMS but I can already see this system going down the pan. All we have is a load of people going 'I want a bigger reputation' or 'he wants a bigger reputation'.

Somehow I can see this being removed fairly fast unless something gets sorted with it - for example...

I will be resetting the count occaisionally and soon we will start getting an accurate number.
I have to go into the server mysql database to reset set it so it won't happen very often.
After I get what I want to know, then I may disable it.
