Light is massless, but it does have some of the properties of matter.  One of which is that it can be affected by the force of gravity.

Particle-Wave Duality, I think it's called. Photons are able to discharge electrons from metals such as Zinc, which is one of the particle qualities, but it's also able to diffract through gaps, which is a wave quality.
