Indeed. Numb is another word for unresponsive, therefore a skull that is numb would mean the same thing as dumb- in other words, lacks a clear or rational response. As such, Numbskull would also be a correct term for the phrase, so I think, therefore I am.

As I see it, a skull that is numb has NO response. A skull that is dumb has an irrational reponse. That's different.

And a numb skull would not come up with such an idea.

Numb, Dumb, it doesn't really matter, all that matters is that we can all accept that sparkey is both of them
