well i went to the docs again and i have high blood pressure 140ish or something and should be around 120 so i'm changing my whole lifestyle by eating better and exercising. tried lot's of food i haven't eaten in ages or ever.
i should avoid stress so TTC2 will be a little while away till i am healthy (could take 2-3 months).
Here are some suggestions for decent food:
Sushi: If you have not tried it, you must give it a shot. Most people are too afraid because they "think" it will taste bad, but it really is very good. Honestly, it is my most favorite food ever.
Tofu: A block of firm tofu can be easily pan fried and chopped up for salads or with other foods. It taste kinda like eggs and is good for you.
Soy Milk: Tastes pretty good, and it does not expire very fast. So you can keep it in your fridge for a lot longer than regular milk.
Chicken: Get in the habit of grilled chicken for everything... If you end up in a fast food place, grilled chicken is usually going to be the best option to resort to if you want to eat healthy in a fast food place. (bonus points if you just opt for a salad... a grilled chicken salad usually will please most people quite well.)
Here are some suggestions to reduce stress:
Quit caring: Too many people get all wound up over things that really they have little control over. Somebody cut you off on the highway? Who cares... You co-worker being a jerk at work? Who cares... Favorite sports team lost? Who cares... Got your bot kicked in BBEANS? Who cares... Learn to be more carefree and philosophical. Take time to study philosophy or examine and study the thought trains of our human minds.
If you are in a relationship: Make it more meaningful. Turn your girlfriend into your best friend. Bond and open up about everything. Life is too short to hold back on any feelings or thoughts, let loose and make your relationship fulfilling so that stress is eradicated from it. A stress-less relationship can be the foundation for a stress-less life. If there are stresses in your relationship, fix them... don't leave anything broken. Sure, it will be stressful to fix them... but the ultimate reward is grand.
If you are single: Stay that way... Don't get into a relationship until you got your own sh** sorted out. Make lots of female friends and enjoy their company.
Take Walks: Grab something from your house (book, ipod, pad & paper, etc etc) and just go for a walk. Don't have a destination, just aim for a distance and go for a walk. Absorb your surroundings and find peace in the simple things that you encounter.
Sort out your life: Are there things in your life that are stessing you out? Fix them. If they are unfixable, ignore them to the best of your ability. If you go forward in life focused on fixing any problem or stess that you encounter, you will build confidence in yourself that you have control. Being in control will result in less stress. If there are things that are out of your control, fine... but focus on the reality of them being out of your control and move on with your life. No anchors or strings... human beings are not puppets.
Hope this helps and get well soon!
