sorry inf, i may be unable to take part in your tourney at the moment. i will be back when I'm all better to continue planning TTC2.

Get well soon, ian
Can't wait for TTC2

Get well soon!
This reminds me, whatever happened with Andrewm0304?
-
Just stay alive.
Iron deficiency huh ? Well you have red meat and wheat for a start... i think spinachs are good too.
-

-
go see a doctor!
then go chew on a hunk of steel... or not...
-
maybe you should look up your symptoms on the internet if you haven't already
-

I was iron deficient for a while. I just changed my diet and got better. Though if your problem involves your body not accepting the iron, I don't know what to tell you.
-
That whole swine flu scare is sooooooooo stupid. Why are people all freaked? its just a new kind of virus that is nooooo worse than the regualar seasonal flu.
On the matter of Ianh05, I really hope you can sort this out. I wish you luck.

I like what my newspaper said about swine flu in America and in Mexico
Basically it said that the Mexicans are freaking out and dying because of it.
And that the Americans are recovering nicely in hospitals.
So basically, if you live in a 3rd world country, well

There mostly dying from the pneumonia that comes from the flu progressing into further stages of its infection. If people simply take basic "sickness tips" then nothing bad will happen.
-
When I first heard of the swine flu, I immediately thought, "What, bird flu wasn't sensational enough?"
-
i'm trying to get better asap, lots of fluids (water and OJ) and lots of rest, trying to stay away from bright light (such as sunlight) too. apparently i just have the flu and im sure i've had it before.
-
Well thats good that it isn't anything more serious. Get well soon Ian!

mmm... orange juice...
-
Stay away from sunlight? Well.... if you insisit. Anyway, good thing it was something as simple as influenza.
-
yeah.
-
FYI, more people are dying from normal flu than the Swine flu.
-
Go Mr Encouragement!
-
No prob. Ianh. Take care of your health. The others too...
-
In the U.S. 7 people or so have been hospitalized from swine flu. In the U.S. 38,000 people die every year from normal influenza.
-
this is true.

Here are some suggestions for decent food:
Sushi: If you have not tried it, you must give it a shot. Most people are too afraid because they "think" it will taste bad, but it really is very good. Honestly, it is my most favorite food ever.
Tofu: A block of firm tofu can be easily pan fried and chopped up for salads or with other foods. It taste kinda like eggs and is good for you.
Soy Milk: Tastes pretty good, and it does not expire very fast. So you can keep it in your fridge for a lot longer than regular milk.
Chicken: Get in the habit of grilled chicken for everything... If you end up in a fast food place, grilled chicken is usually going to be the best option to resort to if you want to eat healthy in a fast food place. (bonus points if you just opt for a salad... a grilled chicken salad usually will please most people quite well.)
Here are some suggestions to reduce stress:
Quit caring: Too many people get all wound up over things that really they have little control over. Somebody cut you off on the highway? Who cares... You co-worker being a jerk at work? Who cares... Favorite sports team lost? Who cares... Got your bot kicked in BBEANS? Who cares... Learn to be more carefree and philosophical. Take time to study philosophy or examine and study the thought trains of our human minds.
If you are in a relationship: Make it more meaningful. Turn your girlfriend into your best friend. Bond and open up about everything. Life is too short to hold back on any feelings or thoughts, let loose and make your relationship fulfilling so that stress is eradicated from it. A stress-less relationship can be the foundation for a stress-less life. If there are stresses in your relationship, fix them... don't leave anything broken. Sure, it will be stressful to fix them... but the ultimate reward is grand.
If you are single: Stay that way... Don't get into a relationship until you got your own sh** sorted out. Make lots of female friends and enjoy their company.
Take Walks: Grab something from your house (book, ipod, pad & paper, etc etc) and just go for a walk. Don't have a destination, just aim for a distance and go for a walk. Absorb your surroundings and find peace in the simple things that you encounter.
Sort out your life: Are there things in your life that are stessing you out? Fix them. If they are unfixable, ignore them to the best of your ability. If you go forward in life focused on fixing any problem or stess that you encounter, you will build confidence in yourself that you have control. Being in control will result in less stress. If there are things that are out of your control, fine... but focus on the reality of them being out of your control and move on with your life. No anchors or strings... human beings are not puppets.
Hope this helps and get well soon!

Yea, seen this with myself; Sometime we take better care of our cars than we do oursleves. We wouldn't put sand in our oil, and yet put poop in ourselves. So, yea, take care of yourself. We, and I'm sure others, would like you around for a while... Hope you get better, Ian.
