I guess he likes playing poker, but has qualms with playing it on on Jokerstars.  I think I saw an ad for that once, it's an online poker website hosted offshore, outside the reach of US law, and can therefore get away with making the house win a disproportionate number of times.

Ii play PKR Texas Hold Em, and since it's online against other people you don't have to worry about some rigged computer taking all your cash.

Thank you for contacting PokerStars.
Regarding your suggestion that PokerStars rigs its games, that would be
pointless, as any analysis of the publicly available hand histories could
statistically demonstrate that the games were rigged. Players would
certainly not play anywhere where the games were proven to be unfair. This
is why hand histories are the ultimate safeguard for players, and ensure
that non-random, "rigged" software cannot be hidden by any means.
Of course we understand that a PokerStars employee telling players this may
be treated with cynicism, so our game software was analysed by the largest
consulting firm specializing in software security and quality, Cigital. They
reviewed PokerStars' game software and found it to be fair and random. You
may read their analysis at:
http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/rng/
Additionally, PokerStars has dealt over 40 billion hands without any
evidence, from anyone, that our shuffle is unfair or anything but random.
If you are still concerned about PokerStars' games, why don't you examine
your results yourself? You can actually request your full hand history from
us and input it into some independent poker analysis software, such as
PokerTracker, PokerOffice, or Hold'em Manager (you can download free trials
if you wish). These programs can then show you easy-to-read reports covering
all your results, plus a large number of other statistics on the hands you
have been dealt, your play, and the play of your opponents. If you do this,
we know you will find that PokerStars deals a fair game.
I hope I have helped alleviate your concerns about the integrity of our
site. Best of luck at the tables, and thank you for choosing PokerStars.

I have been playing regularly for 5-6 years and see your pattern......I don't need software that can't see the whole picture!
I will never put another nickel on your site, because I emailed you when I was in a Stud tournament and a guy had 5555333 to my 88877 (was from Buenos Aires....close to where you started out, probably a buddy of yours)....anyway, I used very foul language and since then it has been EVEN worse than it was before the email......I am 100% convinced you control every aspect of the games. Ever who wrote your software has it pretty well nailed now, and I noticed they were "testing" with the play money games a couple years ago, and now have it pretty well controlled.

We only facilitate the game by dealing the cards in a fair, honest and

As mentioned, plenty of independent studies have found the opposite to be

Note this is not PokerStars just saying "we are random", these are

your full hand history, so you may analyse it yourself or with the

our shuffle is random.

Then go to a casino and pay regular Poker, ACAMS.

(or write a poker bot)

Anyway, I lol'd at those 5 aces.

They probably don't rig their games... It's either bug, hackers (if it's possible..? I don't know their client-server architecture), or plain bad luck. I sometimes read codingthewheel.com, and the guy didn't seem to mention rigging anywhere. And if anyone knew, he would.

Nah, SMF is fine... You could have used the code tag instead of the quote tag if the latter didn't work for some reason.

SMF doesn't like when you quote a non-existing user after you quote an existing one. But it works fine if you ONLY quote one that doesn't exist. It's a software bug apparently. So if you attributed the quote to Sparkey98 instead of jokerstarts, it probably would have worked.

have you ever noticed that everything that rhymes with "Pokerstars" sounds like a really unappealing place to play poker?  There's Jokerstars as you pointed out, also Smokerstars, Choke-rstars, Croakerstars, and probably the most telling of all, Broke-rstars.
