@ACAMS's pic: Yeah, the blue squirty thing is what i meant by a water squirter. I have no special solution to dissolve earwax, but do have a water squirter.

The knife trick works alot better when the knife is sharp. Preferably double sided too.

Have you tried covering your nose and mouth and blowing really hard? I think if you block off both your breathing airways it forecs the pressure out your ears.

Use a screwdriver to put a hole through the wax (God this sounds so wrong), then use a sharp pointy object to pull it out

Guys, I don't think sharp objects will have an effect. If anything, they'll be likely to cause even more damage.

I know what to do! Stay in the bath for half an hour then in the water use a cotton bud. It worked for me!

I don't know about a cotton bud, but a Q-Tip will dig it out.
