And who else knows what else is true. There are security clearance levels above the president, who knows what those select few know if it is too important to not even tell the president.

I would like to see a source for this comment. I think they admit they have a base there, they just deny having any sort of alien technology being researched there.

This article repeatedly mentioned that Area 51 does not exist. It is a reputable source (AKA, a major newspaper), so you cannot say that it is one guy's opinion.

Just because it's a newspaper from a big city, that doesn't mean that the article doesn't contain some person's opinions.

As for Area 51, it was initially denied to kick jerkasses from trying to find it and **** up their sh**. It is used for military testing, not storing aliens. Why all the secrecy? To prevent enemy nations from seeing all of the cool toys.

It's certainly possible that single cell organisms first came here via some sort of asteroid, but that does nothing to prove that intelligent life visits this planet.

Well I learned in science class a while ago that Earth used to be described as something known as a primordial soup, containing many essential compounds and amino acids of life. Abiogenesis, which is probably the leading theory on the origin of life. Panspermia or Exogenesis states that life started elsewhere and came here, which is also possible though less accepted in the scientific community.

You're always gonna have disagreement on that front, there's always going to be different views about where life on Earth first originated from, and the reason is that there's really no way that you can ACTUALLY prove any one of them to be right.

But going back to the main point, there is definitely going to be another form of life in the universe, it's almost a certainty, because it's really just chance that we're here at all, and I'm not wanting to offend any religious people on the forum by saying that, but it's just my view. And there's just as good a chance that life could be sustained anywhere else in the universe. Chances of them actually finding us is very very slim, and the chances of them being at the same stage in their evolution as we are are practically nil.

I just want to be the one to point out that UFO simply means "Unidentified Flying Object", so as long as you believe that you can see something in the sky and not know what it is, you believe in UFO'S. As for whether or not there are alien spaceships visiting earth, I don't really know, but I wouldn't rule it out as a possibility.

Why? The universe is dated at about 13.9 Billion years old, and the elements needed for life were created with the first star creations which brings age for possible beginning of life to be about 9 Billion years.

Life on Earth started at around 4.5 Billion years ago. That gives other life forms elsewhere quite a bit of time to far surpass us in evolutionary stage (This does not necessarily mean they will be more complex).
