And now I give you one of my best creepy pictures. Hope you like daddy longlegs.

Wait, are these the hunting ones (technically not a spider) or the web-spinning (true spiders) ones ?

I got a feeling these are the hunting ones (Opiliones).

Daddy Long-legs arn't spiders, they're insects. Wings, long bodies, six legs. There are too many legs to count in that picture, but those bodies are more round and I can't see any wings. So they're not Daddy Long Legs in the pic.

I think Naryar may be right about them bring 'hunting spiders', except in england I believe they're called 'harvestmen'. Not spiders, cos they don't have abdomens and don't spin web, but they have more than six legs.
Good evening.

There are multiple species called Daddy long legs.

Put this onto your signature if you were part of this crappy fad in '03.

Ahhhh.... Wings is refering to Crane Flies, Naryar is refering to the Harvestman, or Opiliones as he mentioned. The spider kind of Daddy Long-legs are mainly a refference to various Cellar Spiders, particularly the Long Bodied Cellar Spider.

All in all.... don't use the word Daddy Long-Leg, it is far too ambiguous.
Any comments would be appreciated. :D

Yes, by daddy longleg, I meant Harvestmen. And HA, I promise you, that if you encountered 25 pounds of anything like that, it would be creepy. Hence the title of my thread.

I love this one.

That's one of those old "Crazy Caterpillar" amusement rides, isn't it?

Wish I could add one to Rollercoaster Tycoon, especially with that ruined garb!
