I really hate that argument. What if Sparkles stated things that were historically inaccurate (Ex. Hitler was the dictator of Italy)? What if Sparkles made math errors? Language errors are just as important as any other errors, and if no attention is brought to them, how will the one committing the errors know that mistakes are being made? You may be fine with mediocrity, but I'm not. We have enough Jay Lenos in the world as it is.

Nobody is saying that you should use words you don't want to use. I don't use the word guesstimate because I see it as being too lame to even use in an ironic way. My objection was to you forcing your unspecified disliking of certain words on others. When pressed for a reason why these words were worse than others of the same meaning, you couldn't come up with anything.
